Being in the middle of a 5 month stay in Lima, I was craving some of my NYC Mexican food. I eventually found this place through a friend and was pretty happy about the experience. They have cards and little board games available and you can take a picture with their giant sombreros if you want to pose for facebook... More

We visit Lima annually for several months. We were looking forward to a Mexican meal and tried Como Agua this noon. We were unaware they had a "Menu"--set lunch offerings and were handed an a la cart menu with its associated prices. That was the major drawback. Peruvians automatically got the lunch menu without asking. Chicken mole was outstanding. The... More

The tacos, burritos, mole, horchata, and tequila chicken are all delicious. For it being the only Mexican joint in pretty much all of Peru, its on point! We go there at least 2 times a month for the atmosphere, food quality, and service. This place is a must when you are missing Mexican food or want a different thing than... More

We went here with a large group of couples I think we were about 30 total maybe more. The food was good, nothing special, it was moderately priced. Ya if you're dieing for some Mexican give it a try. I grew up in Arizona, west Texas and New Mexico. So I've had real Mexican food and they do it right... More

A tenderloin steak cut with a butter knife! Great hospitality from Alejandra and her team. Excellent quality food and reasonable price. Very cozy. Definitely a place to come back too.

Finally found good Mexican food in Peru! Though Peruvian cuisine is outstanding, I miss my regular dose of Mexican food from “back home” in the USA. It’s not quite the Tex-Mex I’m used to, but the food here is delicious and hits the spot for my Mexican cravings. The décor reminds me of home and the service is good. A... More

My husband and I got large Nachos and asked for meat with it. I am very glad the owner came out to speak to us bc I can speak a little bit of Spanish but I can understand Spanish. The owner was very sweet and caring. We really enjoyed our food but the young boy as our server was very... More

We arrived quite early at 7.30 and the owner husband and wife were not around. The restaurant was staffed by a young lad and slightly older waitress neither of whom had much English. What followed was a hilarious half hour while I was invited to personally hunt through the wine rack for a bottle of Peruvian wine. This didn't help... More

We prefer to avoid the touristy restaurants and this place is a gem. The locals love it and so did we. The food was excellent and the owner came over and chatted with us for quite some time. The ambiance was great and it was very inexpensive. One of my favorite places to eat in Lima.

Lima is an historic, interesting but also hectic city. This gem of a restaurant and bar was a great escape. Extremely friendly family run place. Lots of board games lying around the bar upstairs also to keep you away from your phones 😉 Definitely worth a visit.
