We went to some of the best restaurants in town and honestly, this place has the best ceviche and rice with seafood in town. It is definitely not for everyone, the place is a little run down, service is a little slow but if you are in a good mood and willing to wait a little, be ignored a few... More

We wanted to try the local ceviche and it was great. The place is where a lot of locals eat. So thats a bluestamp on Its own. We had the mixed platter, that can be enough for three persons.

El Muelle was recommended to us by our hostel host. It is right around the corner from the more expensive options in Barranco like Canta Rana and Isolina. There were tons of menu options but we just ordered the ceviche tradicional because we were on our 3rd lunch of the day. The fish was excellent quality and the preparation was... More

Good local food. A bit expensive, but I guess that's Miraflores prices for you. Seviche is awesome! The big seafood platter can easily feed 3 or 4 people.

We had hired bikes to go biking along the malecon for the day and upon the recommendation of our bike guy we ended up at this great local favourite. The seafood / ceviche dishes were delightful, with their homemade lemonade a surprise crowd favourite. Definitely go there!

If you are a tourist and looking for good local food, stay way from where everyone is dressed like a tourist. Go to a place that is packed with people who are dressed like they live there. El Muelle is perfect, there is a reason why it is packed, there is a reason why friends take there friends from out... More

This was a delicious seafood joint in the neighborhood tucked away from tourists and has a lot of local color to it. The place is unassuming and not fancy- plastic chairs and tables. But the food was divine. The ceviche was made with fresh fish and seafood and had great flavor and perfect amount of citrus acidity. Dishes averaged between... More

First of all, the pricing is not somekind of ultraexpensive flash-restuarant. Even on our backpacking-budget we could make room for one great(and huge) cebiche. Good service as well and nice location on a sidestreet 5 min walk from the plaza.

Came across this place while visiting Lima and the Barranco area. It seems like a typical neighborhood cevicheria, my wife and I were hungry and decided to go in. Completely unpretentious but comfortable restaurant. I could not stop eating the ceviche, it was mouthwatering, I wanted more but even the waitress told me that I could be in trouble for... More

Our host recommended this place for a lunch. No fancy restaurant (plastic tables and chairs), but the food is amazing! They offer home made, roasted nuts which go perfectly with the pisco sours we ordered... We tried the ceviche classico and prawn ceviche which where fabulous! If you do not like spicy, you should mention it upfront. Good adress for... More
