I have been here twice so far and intend to visit them again and again, every time i travel back to Peru. Definitely one of the best places.

This isn't your typical tourist restaurant, rather a local restaurant for peruvian people. The food is simply delicious. If you are searching for a good place to eat in Lima, then you just found it.

We were told of this restaurant by a friend of us that we met at our hotel in Lima. I am sure people know that Lima and Peru are famous for their delicious food too. So, we went on a 40 minute taxi ride from Miraflroes to La Victoria district. They said this neighborhood is sketchy but we didn't notice... More

We went here with a tour group and it was awesome. We shared a number of dishes, including ceviche, octopus, yams, crab, calimari, etc. Those little salty corn kernels on the table, or whatever they are, are delicious. Apprently it was popular with the futbol players back in the day. Highly recommended.

Tucked on a quiet street next to Alianza Lima's football stadium in the dodgy Victoria district ( get a taxi- lock doors and close windows!) , Mi Barrunto is a local gem- an oasis of good food and drink. It's a speciality seafood place famous for it's ceviche and quite rightly so-spot on with a complimentary shot of "tigers blood"... More

The restaurant is located in a tough neighborhood, but is totally worth it. The food was amazing, we had the arroz con mariscos and a leche de tigre. Everyone from the guy outside to the server was extremely nice with us. Is full of locals which is always a good sign. I totally recommend taking a taxi to this place.... More

A Peruvian friend took us to this place today as a first. I cannot believe I've lived in Lima for 3 years and missed this gem. Mi Barrunto (slang for mi barrio or my neighbourhood) is run by three brothers: one fishes, one cooks, one serves. Or at least that's how it started but there's now many more people in... More

My Peruvian fellas suggested to visit this restaurant, is located on a dangerous area in Lima, 25 min from Miraflores, sober decoration and simple style, food was fantastic but service was really slow, idk if there is any good day on a week to visit without having to wait for a table.
