Sandwiches are good and quite juicy. The chips (US: fries) are made from a very starchy and dense potato so its quite different from the usually chips you get with your burger- it's nearly a meal by itself!

la Lucha is a perfect place to grab a bite while in Lima. The sandwiches are tasty and the drinks are delicious (Chica Morada and Grandilla Mango and Naranja were my favourites). The restaurant is well maintained and the staff were only too happy to assist and explain the menu if you're struggling to decide what to order. Worth coming... More

Best sandwich ever! Lechon a la lena with salsa criolla OMG we had to come back and had it 3 more times during our latest trip to Lima. Clean and professional staff very attentive and courteous, must have a glass of cold chicha morada with your meal.

This is the place to go for Peru's famous sandwiches. My wife wanted to eat a Chicarron Sandwich so I googled "Lima, Chicarron Sandwich" and the name La Lucha came up. It's a corner diner with a few tables and lots of customers coming and going. The sandwich we had was tasty. We also ordered a junior size fries which... More

Best sandwich in Peru. maybe all around the World. I tried La Lucha and Lechon a la Lena. Both were very good. There was a guy who can speak English very well and he helps non-Spanish Speaking guests. I really thanks for him. Potato Fries were very tasty and fresh. Try local fruit juice. everything is really deliciouse.

As the title says, good sandwiches and juice! Close to Parque Kennedy, and draws the crowds you'd expect given it. Best fries we found in a week in Lima, though they are just okay. Good lunch spot if you find it without too much of a line!
