Lima is always a challenge to find new and good restaurants. But his time we went to an old classic and we were not disappointed. We were a group of six and we had multiple starters: cebiche, tiradito and pulpo al olivo followed by some rice with prawn dish which was out of this world. After that the pescado diablo... More

Just dive on in and try everything ... its the most delightful food ... casual dining experience. Usually you would need a reservation otherwise you would have a little wait - this place is busy.

Two years ago I reviewed La Mar. two years later, it was the first restaurant I had to visit after I arrived in Lima. Ohhh the ceviche, and the Pisco sour! The causa, jalea, I can go on and on. It is a do not miss restaurant if you are in Lima!

The best seafood restaurant of Gaston Acurio. Although everybody obsessed about ceviche there but all the options on a menu are awesome. Perfect service. Nice décor. And great memories to share. This restaurant does not have a reservation but you will wait no more than a half an hour. A very popular restaurant among locals and tourists. The ceviche samplers... More

The food was very good, and the service okay. Although they took very long to bring simple things such as Ají (hot sauce), I must give credit for the Cebiche and the Causas (my favorites).

Excellent Peruvian seafood restaurant, owned by Chef Gaston Acurio. Fantastic food and service. I can strongly recommend the ceviche.

Great ambiance, food and service is quite nice. It is a must stop in Lima just arrive early. Although Ceviche is a must try the Octopus, just let its tentacles rap you in a tender and amazing flavour.

Came on a weekday around 12:30 PM with estimated wait time of 2 hours! The wait is lengthy, but the staff tries to make it go by faster. The waiters regularly come by to give you small soup spoons of ceviche that you can munch on while waiting, and it's free! They also pass around fried bar snacks like beans... More

We arrived yesterday with an 87-year-old lady on a wheel chair and despite their "priority seating policy" we had to wait for 45 minutes at the entrance. The person in charge of giving tables was discourteous, lacked completely empathy and did nothing to speed the process. Food was regular and overpriced. There has been a whole change since last time... More

I did not like the cebiche. The causa dishes were much better than the cebiche. The place itself is very crowded and noisy.
