This restaurant is on a second floor just a few steps from the Ollantaytambo ruins. The food was really good and also the service. The owner Carmen is in charge of the kitchen, she is really kind and also had the time to stop by...our table and say hello and ask for the food if everything was ok. The dishes were abundantly and well presented. Definitely I do recommended and will come back!More

Apu Veronica serves great burritos. They are probably the best I've ever had and that's no joke. Everything is homemade and made fresh. This restaurant has survived the quarantines and having less tourists in town. And did I mention how excellent the food is?! We...recommend this place to all the guests who stay at Apu Lodge, where we volunteer. I haven't met anybody who is disappointed. The prices are also reasonable. The chef, Carmen, also serves the food on unique platters of stone. A few doors down from APU Veronica is also another restaurant called Apu Pitusiray. This restaurant serves typical food from Peru such as aji de gallina, ceviche, and milaneza de pollo. We were there and had the milaneza de pollo served with fried rice, salad, soup, and a mate (tea drink) all for 6 soles. I'd recommend these restaurants, owned by sisters, if you get a chance to come to Ollantaytambo.More

Not only was the food incredible (the best in Ollantatmbo!) and the atmosphere lovely, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive to our family. They noticed my one year old daughter's messy diaper even before I did, instantly picked her up, changed her diaper and...clothes (the mess had gone all over her back), and gave her new clothes to wear! I was a worried mother as I saw my daughter's mess, yet they were so sweet, calming, and helpful! When I tried to pay for the clothes they gave they told me it was gift from Apu Veronica. One of the workers must of had a daughter the same size as mine. They gave us their own clothes, their joy, their care, their love, and really really good food!!! We had such a great time eating here and will always remember them. Please give them a visit, you won't be disappointed!More

The food was absolutely amazing but the service was shocking. The two wait staff were young boys who looked out of there depth! Worth a trip for the food but keep your sense of humourMore

Apu Veronica is the best place ever! Ceviche is fantastic, and the mix of meal is great! Cow, lamb and Alpaca... truly recommend! And, when in the restaurant, special attention to Joel... nice person and 100% focus on customer needs. 😊

Great restaurant on 2nd floor on Ollantaytambo. Food was wonderful and fresh. Wait staff was lovely. We had the fajitas, each item served separately so that we could made own. The handmade blue corn tortillas were amazing!!

Went their on recommendation of our front desk clerk. I ordered "Causita Ollantina" Its potatoe puree, avocado, chiken strips with sauces. Does not sound great, but the presentation and taste were great. Ambiance is ok. If you get a chair by windows, nice views. A...family is running it. Teen boys are servers. A couple very young kids crawling around as well. I did not mind it at all. Food is fresh and tastes great, thats all I want. Oh yes, Chicha Morades a local drink made from purple corn was great.More

A bit pricey, but the food is very good. I highly recommend the trucha a la plancha. The pumpkin soup was quite good, though a bit too salty for me. Overall, the set menu is a good deal, but the service is slow and plodding.More
