I really enjoyed our lunch at this little hide-away restaurant, which our guide recommended. We had excellent Alpaca tenderloin and some lovely Peruvian craft beers and wines. Strongly recommended.

Food wasn't great. Alpaca lasagna was heavy and not tasty. Service was sub standard - lots of menu and wine items not available, spills left on table

Food was excellent, atmosphere was very nice and overall a very good experience. Service was slow, waitress hardly came by to get additional order.

I ordered a curry and vegetable dish that was out of this world. It was one of the two best meals I had in Peru. One of my companions ordered penne arrabiata and also said it was one of her best meals. The portions were huge, enough for 2-3 people. We heard the chef's specialty is desserts, but unfortunately, we... More

Do not miss El Huacatay. Consistently the best food in the region. Incredible salads, chicken, meat. The stand out is the alpaca in thyme and port sauce - simply incredible. The fried chocolate truffles are also a must try. And please have chicha morada here, best one in Peru!

We felt let down by the rushed and inefficient service here and the flavours of the food were too overpowering. The restaurant was extremely busy and we initially felt pleased to be offered a table if we came back in an hour, but we shouldn't have bothered. Our experience at Tres Keros the following day was much much better.

We had a friend of a guy that worked at our hotel give us a tour of the area and suggested that we go to this place if we were only eating at one place in Urubamba. It was somewhat hard to find, but it is a place we will never forget and wish we could go back to. I... More

After we finally arrived at the restaurant, we walked through the courtyard with amazing flowers and plants to the main dining room. As it was dark by the time we arrived, the place was brightly lit and welcoming. There was a wide variety of options available. I had the ravioli, wanting a meal free of saltados. It was beautifully presented... More

We had lunch here, the food was excellent! The bread was served with herbed oil, a cheese sauce and olives. Mmmm good. The coffee was delicious! I had some ravioli that was obviously freshly made in house and excellent! When you arrive you walk through a beautiful garden area, there is outside and inside seating, the decor was great! I...
