This was very special, upon arriving they were having dancers putting on a show which was delightful, we then moved into the restaurant and the buffet was huge with many many different items many that we never saw before there for the tasting. Yes, like...many buffets, not everything was perfect, but most items were excellent. I'm not a big dessert person, but they were making fresh donut rings with a sauce that was outstanding. They also had music and shops to go through which all added to a very pleasant time.More

Set in fine gardens , Muna's is set up for large groups . The buffet is large and looks fine - but like so many the food that should be hot is cold - the meat is tough and the number of potato dishes is...large - however the puddings are good. There is a selection of craft beers to be tasted and the sound of ' sparrows and snails ' on the pan pipes a little too loud. There is a fine craft shop well worth a look.More

This review is 5 months late, because....life! In April, I traveled to Perú with 19 other people - 7 adults and 12 students. On the 5th day, we spent several hours at this restaurant. We were given a tour of the gardens and learned about...the food grown there and how it was protected naturally and harvested. We then divided into two groups and helped prepare our meal. It was an amazing experience. The students and adults were delighted to participate in this culinary adventure. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, the ambiance superb and I hope to one day return!More

I didn't want to like this restaurant. It is geared totally to tour groups and in large numbers. The place is huge. My difficulty came after having eaten lunch. It's buffet style. There was a very large salad selection. Followed by a very wide variety...of cooked food, meat, fish and vegetarian. Finished off by a large selection of desserts. All of which were well cooked and presented. I had to concede that they know what they do and they do it well. It is excellent food. Just don't need the music accompaniment and especially as loud as they played.More

This was a stop on our Sacred Valley tour. It was a buffet lunch with an excellent selection of food. Good salad bar with a potato bar as well with 5 different types of potatoes with a a few sauces. For the main course I...have the chicken Tarragon. Wow. The chicken melted in your mouth with this sweet cream sauce. But my favorite was the picarones! These a fried dough rings with syrup. Soooo good! There was also a few musicians playing Peruvian instruments for lunch. The staff was very very attentive and friendly. Also FYI this has a nice rest room on the country side with TP in the stalls and enough room to crouch. (This is good to know!)More

Our group visited the Muna Restaurant in Urubama, Peru. The meal statrted off very well with a local Cream of Corn Soup. For my entree I chose the Tender loin beef with tomatoes and Rice. TENDER was not what I received. First I had trouble...cutting it with my knife and when I was able to get a piece cut, It was impossible to chew. I saw how many others were enjoying the Grilled Chicken with herbs of the valley and wish that I had picked thatMore

Muna looks rough from the road but once past the gate, this vibrant garden welcomes you down to the restaurant. The food was good. It was buffet styled. We had live flute players playing while eating which was very nice.
