Visited with an OAT group. The chicken was delicious. The name means house of chicken. The owner is friendly and very proud of his collections. He should be because they are fun to see. His wife is an artist as well.

A group of 14 of OAT travelers ate dinner here. The building is gorgeous with lots of glass. While the roasted chicken was wonderful (juicy and tender with crisp skin), the salad portions were so meager that I got a tiny amount. The chicken was accompanied by not great fries. And NO dessert! We were shocked! The family style service... More

Oscar, owner and host, was gracious and engaging, and is quite the entrepreneur and art supporter. We went to dinner as part of an OAT tour, so our guide was friendly with Oscar and told us about his renovated "colonial" house, which is very lovely. The chicken and fries were good. I would recommend dinner here.

I couldn't speak more highly of the food and service here. I loved the roast chicken- it tastes so fresh and much better than chicken in the United States. Oscar- the host/owner- is so friendly and really knows good food. We loved the fries here, the potatoes in Peru in general are amazing! The place is also an architectural wonder-... More

Our hotel owner said this was the place to go for the best roast chicken in Peru. He was right, but I think it was probably the best roast chicken in the world. The owner, Oscar was just as friendly as the meal was good. Enough said!

We arrived outside the normal schedule but they're nice enough to let us in to the garden for the kids to play. Oscar served us a delicious chicken dinner...the sauces are amazing and the fries are magical. We'd definitely go again in a second!

For the cost, the food is amazing. I had the unlimited rotisserie chicken, salad, and french fries for only s/35. The maracuya sour was the best I ever had! The service was impeccable and Oscar (the owner) even sat down at our table to have a drink with us. If you're visiting Urubamba, you must try this place!

This is a huge restaurant but I really like the rustic feeling of the place. The staff were so nice and professional. It´s always nice to see beautiful smiles. The menu has an all-you-can-eat option. You choose either meat, chicken or vegetarian. It is served with side dishes. And you can eat a whole chicken if you want. And the... More
