While we were staying at Tambo Del Inka in Urubamba, the concierge told us about this small restaurant in a nearby town. A 10 min taxi ride. We ate there twice. Great pizza and pasta and local specialties. the owner was amazing. He gave us a tour of the beautiful gardens and fruit trees.

Ugly village and street Nothing to do around ; it is just the entrance of the Sacred Valley You will never spontaneously exit your hotel and go here... But please do it !! We must sponsor and support suchan initiative to equip this place with some gastronomy Better than hotels around, no doubt !!! Very good food They should just... More

The meal was delicious, and desert a delight. The wine list was very nice as well. Although our trip to Peru was for photography, this was a gastronomical pleasure.

How can a restaurant in such a small village as Yucay, be so good and therefore be full. Of course the place does not have more then 25-30 seats. So reservaties are essential. But also they have a staff that for some reason or another is anxious to get the best out of themselves. The starter for us was a... More

We made a reservation for dinner, but arrived earlier for lunch and they were able to accommodate us. The food was, in a word, superb. I had a quinoto (quinoa risotto) with shrimp that was the best I've eaten. My wife and her friend had ravioli stuffed with trout. This restaurant requires a trip to the Sacred Valley!

Tucked away on a side street off the main highway, Rene and his wife oversee on of the best restaurants in the Sacred Valley. My groups thoroughly enjoy the ever changing menu and desserts. Highly recommended!

This was an excellent restaurant . We were staying down the road at the Posadas del Inca, Yucay, so it was just a very short walk. The food and service by Rene and his staff was exceptional, and we considered this to be our best meal, that we experienced, on our trip to South America. We would thoroughly recommend a... More

We arrived in Yucay with a tour group exploring the Sacred Valley and were told emphatically by our group leader, for reasons known only to himself, that the Hotel had the only restaurant in town. Luckily my daughter and I are explorers and in walking around the town of Yucay found Ananau just 200 metres from the Hotel and in... More

This is a quaint little restaurant nestled a charming courtyard in the back street of Yucay. The food here was top-notch as was the service. This restaurant is perfect for a romantic or intimate dining experience. Escape the big groups and treat yourself to Ananau!
