We went there as it was on our top list restaurants in the city. The restaurant is very pricey and the food was far from worth what you pay. It looks there is a waiter's competition as the one who started to serve us was...More

Jorge thank you for your opinion, we recognize that the service fails when the restaurant is too crowded. Thanks again for the opinion.

Stopped for lunch during our visit. The presentation was incredible, food fantastic and staff courteous and responsive. Decent wine selection so we enjoyed a bottle with our steak kebabs.

We were overwhelmed with the number of restaurants to choose from in the market so we sought advice from the folks at the Montevideo Wine Experience. This was their recommendation and it was a good one. They explained that it was a little more expensive...More

Fun to eat lunch at Mercado del Puerto. We had grilled sea bass ( we’re getting a bit tired of grilled meat after having spent two weeks in Argentina and Uruguay) with fried potatoes and it was delicious. We ate outside on a warm March...More

this is more of a barbq restaurant and i consider it to be the best in town. this place is also of historical value and there are so many options on how you can cook the same meal. it is a must eat by.

In our grill, a big variety of courts, meats of calf meat, lamb, pork, kidney, sausages and trip are grilled daily. The fishes and seafood arrive directly from the port, so do the vegetables and fresh fruits from the garden. Although -we have to recognize it- our more important ingredient is you.
