Sit in the square for lunch under the palms ~ simple food well prepared and presented, good value and good service in a perfect location. Perfect place to kick back and people watch with a glass in hand

We came here for lunch a couple days ago with family and friends, and as usual everything was perfect. The restaurant offers a tourist menu with several choices to be made which includes first and main dishes, desserts, soda, water or wine and tea or coffee for a cheap price, around 15 to 18 dollars. This way it can be... More

Prices affordable. Food pre planned by menus. It includes a drink and dessert. Service slow and somewhat inattentive to your requests.

Its a very interesting place to visit for its architecture, huge, old and well distributed. For it´s neighborhood context its a very good place to have a business lunch.

Very nice place, and fantastic food. The service is great and has many options. If you're vegetarian you wont have many, but the pasta was very nice! I definitely recommend this place.

We just stopped at the outside tables at lunchtime for a wine and snack. We were amazed when we went inside and found a beautiful 3 story restaurant full of locals - obviously a favorite. Wish we had time to go in the evening for dinner. Recommend you try this amazing place.

The menus for lunch in La Corte are excellent and way above other alternatives we've met in Montevideo. In every standard, food served was outstanding. Employees are really friendly and helpful, too. And all of that, for a reaonable price in Montevido standards.

For lunch there are three menus determined by price broadly 400,500 & 600 pesos (or today circa £12/£15/£18 or $14/$18 &$21). Each menu offers a choice or six main courses, six deserts with a drink (wine, orange juice or soft drink) and coffee or tea to follow. We chose the first one and from that lasagne as the main course.... More

Very flavorful food and great service. The outside eating area is a great place to enjoy the afternoon watching the people coming and going or enjoying the plaza. The daily specials are very well priced and very good.
