The fish dish was utterly tasteless and the vegetables were soggy. All around a bad experience. It was to be a reunion with friends but there was a noisy group close by and weren't able to talk. The noise levels were truly a nuisance. The staff were friendly and apologized but could not effectively do anything to curb the noise... More

This is a great restaurant. The staff are friendly and very helpful. As always, it certainly helps if you can speak a little Spanish but is not a requirement. The food is excellent and a great range of regional wines. Just as expected from South America!! We had a range of meats (over two meals) including beef and lamb and... More

This is a restaurant that is far too many guests for the number of servers. From the beginning there were several things that turned me off. Our server had far too many tables and managed to do her best and never complained. I don't enjoy establishments that work their employees like slaves. The food was not up to my expectations... Very nice restaurant in Montevideo, with good variety in the menu, good wine list and bar, comfortable and pleasing ambience, and good service. Was happy with the provolone al oregano, chorizo, and tagliatelle de cordero (lamb). Definitely recommend!

Randomly stumbled upon this place a tuesday night. Great staff, nice and cozy interior and amazing food. They served me half of my steak at first just so it wouldn't be cold too quickly.

We were in a hotel in Cuidad Vieja where it is nearly impossible to find a restaurant that opens on Sunday. So went to La Cocina de Pedro in Pocitos instead. Very nicely decorated, good food (we both had Spinach Ravioli with Tomato Salsa), no wine, only water, and payed U$ 35 both both of us. They seem to have... More

My wife walked for quite a while on a Sunday afternoon looking for a place open for lunch. We were very fortunate to find this place open. The staff were very friendly (even though there was a language barrier) and the food was excellent.

I ramdomly googled 10 places to eat in Montevideo and this restaurant was on the list as well. Although the restaurant is 2 miles from our hotel, we decided to walk there hoping that we will get sitted without reservation. And what was a surprise that we got sited right away! We ordered variety meat plata for 2 with veggies... More

This is a lovely restaurant off the beaten path in Montevideo. The Palermo neighborhood isn't really close to anything but this is worth an Uber or a drive over. The space is modern with high ceilings- not what it looks like from the street. I had the steak (entrecot) and my husband had pasta. Mine was significantly better than his.... More
