neat little bar to at least pop into once...really friendly staff and views to die for...place is what i would call 'rustic' and could do with a simple 'dress up' but not too much as part of its character is the way it is!!

Wonderful views, music & beers after checking out the Saturday Market. Would love to go back to check out the Menu.

We first visited Whatever Bar in 2011 for lunch and thought it was awesome with the rustic feel to it and the amazing views. Lunch was a $5 burger which was great with a guy cooking on a BBQ. We then came back on the night life tour and this place was packed both upstairs and downstairs. Then again we... More

This is definately a bar, although they have a very small menu of food. For day time, it has a nice view, but that didn't balance the night-club feel and smell.

The staff were friendly when we popped in for coffees on the day of the parade. We didn't ask for takeaway but we were all presented with takeaway cups.

Great views, and simple meals, burger and chips with a view for $18 can't really complain especially when the food is great!

So nice looking out at the waterline, drinking cocktails (dont forget happy hour), having a chat with the friendly staff. Had a great time there several days in a row. Was great esp after climbing the Needle and after the Quad bike adventures... staff didnt care about my dirty joggers ha

When you come to Raro, your holiday is what you make of it .. if you expect the best of everything then you're in the wrong place at the Whatever Bar .. its a place where atmosphere counts for everything .. meals are basic, drink prices are good and we had a great time talking and mingling with locals and... "Whatever" tshirts can be found in most bags leaving Raro and it's alongside Trader Jacks so we expected a slick upmarket operation. Instead we climbed the stairs to the open air balcony and bar that felt more like a sports clubhouse than a restaurant. The service was great and the food was simple (burgers) and divine and just what we... More

Dropped in for a quick and cheap family meal and that's what we got. Friendly staff and good food worked for us, we intended to return but ran out of time.
