If you want to try something else than cevapcici, traditional grill or burek you need to visit this place. Great food based on traditional bosnian kitchen, nice atmopshere, resonable price.

great local place value for food obviously but so much more than that.It is homely, cool and very convenient. In a little square of bars,it is the only one constantly full and with good reason

We sat outside as the weather was lovely. The benches and stools were decorated with colourful cushions and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. We didn't eat here, but the food served at other tables looked to be of good quality. I can recommend the wine though!

Ate here twice for dinner on consecutive nights. Excellent value for money. The food was really tasty both times - 'Bosnian Pot' and chicken stir-fry. If you don't like the smoky atmosphere inside, there are outside tables with have heaters. Very popular place.

This time I went on a group of 26 people, so it's new experience for me to review in this way. It was evening, we went through the nice market and in one point we had to turn to the right and get into a small alley and right to Barhana restaurant. The cozy environment caught me instantly. While there... More

We had a great experience here. Had not planned where to go but liked the look. We had great service from friendly staff. Food was delicious and not too fast or slow. Had a good local wine as well. Very reasonable and the table inside and upstairs was very cosy. Recommended.

We ate here twice during a long weekend in the city. Really good experience - would recommend. Location: Very central, in the heart of the action. Ambience: traditional and authentic. I think there is sometimes live music, but we managed to miss it. Food: excellent, across a number of dishes.Spicy, local, heart warming. Drink: local beers and the particularly good... More

Our wicked tour guide suggested it to us and we where not disappointed, the space looked awesome and the food was quality and seriously filled us up. We had the Bosnian Pot, chicken and potatoes, carrot ginger soup and each a beer for 22 marks. I typically don't review for restaurants, but we had such a great dinner I thought... More

We were looking for a place that serves alcohol and Barhana is one of them. The staff is not that nice, but the place itself is worth going. The food was ok, nothing special.
