This is a smallish neighborhood restaurant. The food was delightful and the service kind and patient and no one spoke English and we spoke no Turkish nor Romanian. We enjoyed every bite and sip at this restaurant and while not in mid-Bucharest, I would take the metro and time to return again!

The restaurant is no longer called Pinar, but Cesme. As one of the staff told us a few months back, when the change happened, there still is of the former owners (later we've met him, after not having seeg him about for a couple of years), but the cook changed. There are changes in the menu as well, a bit... More

When I don't have any food I go to Pinar. It's a good restaurant run by Turkish guy, you feel like been in Turkey, even Tv channels are only Turkish. The food is great , limited options , but cooked on a daily basis, lentil soup is probably the best I ate in Bucharest. Highly recommended for thos who wants... More

Excellent food and indeed, authentic Turkish recipes. The place is nice and quiet, not very fancy but cozy! Easy to find a parking lot, next to the restaurant. Friendly staff, speaking Romanian, English or Turkish. I eat there every two weeks.

It is our usual walk+meal package for a week-end dinner. You may not be impressed by the decoration, although it is not a neglected angle. It is always very clean, the customers are Romanians and Turks. The owner and most of the staff are Turks and they are all very nice. Everything is Turkish here: the pictures on the walls,... More

Some friends invited us there and we have discovered an amazing place... clean, not fancy at all when it comes to decoration :) but the food.... ohhhh... sooooooo good! NO alchool... More

This place is not fancy at all, it's a Turkish restaurant for Turkish people mostly (if you want to watch Turkish TV, here is the place). I have been here many times and the kebabs were always great. That compensates for the prices, which are higher than expected when you see the place. The really bad part is that they... More

There are not so many turkish restaurants in Bucharest, but Pinar is surely on of the best. I've eaten here dozens of times and I've never been disappointed. Pinar is a kebap and grill restaurant, the food is really tasty and you'll often hear turkish speaking around you, as most clients are turkish. I love not only the taste of... More
