We came here thanks to the good reviews and we weren't disappointed. An interesting menu of simple food cooked really well. We left quickly after paying and our waiter ran out after us to present us with a little gift...it was a nice touch and we'll be back again the next time we're in Kyiv. Thanks.

This place is amazing. Tried my beloved Kiev Kotlet and Shuba salad made like a sushi roll. So creative and delicious. Настойка (traditional liqueur) set made of different fruits made our day :) if you decide to come here try kisel (traditional smoothie made of wild berries. Staff is super friendly and design of the restaurant is nice. Will definitely... More

If you want local food and a good and slightly different decoration/atmosphere, this is the place. It has a quirky design, but I really liked the atmosphere and the "different" decoration, modern to traditional. The service was very good and they had a good level of English. The menu had plenty of choice and I had the vegetarian borsch, which... More

After reading all the reviews, I expected something really special. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, but the food was just a bit too ordinary. More style than substance! The restaurant was quite empty, though it was a Sunday evening. We had a starter each, shared a main course, and 2 drinks each, and with a... More

You get a good selection of typical Ukrainian food here, which is very tasty. The service is wonderful and the decor adds to the charm. It's rather fancy in a quaint way. I can recommend the beef stroganoff as a main, but everything looked good to be fair. Whatever you order though, leave some room for the Kiev pastry (which... More

You get a lot of tradional Ukrainian dishes here served with a bit of a twist. Delicious and fun with plenty to choose from - plus a fun mixture of old and modern decor.

Delicious food in a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Attentive and very friendly staff. I had the Borsh, which contained veal and tomatoes, with their garlic bread. It was so delicious. For main, I had the grilled mackerel with sauted potatoes and onion and some grilled veg. All orgasmic. Washed down with 2 delicious glasses of red wine. One from Ukraine, one... More

Yes, Spotykach really be proud! With such care together under one cover the most famous culinary hits of the Soviet era have not for everyone. Here is what restaurant critics over the years will be called "Ukrainian cuisine of the Soviet period," and the mere process of reading the menu is wild appetite. Salad leaves traditional herring under a fur coat, Olivier, Mimosa Capital, salad with beans and a dozen names. Then begins an even more pleasant discoveries. Take, for example, herring with anchovies on potatoes with onions or perch with mushrooms, fried pancakes. Sated fangled delights metropolitan restaurants audience inevitably return to the simple joys that are certain to become trump card Spotykach.
