The restaurant leaves a pleasant aftertaste from visiting. Interesting interior in the Ukrainian style. There you can taste Ukrainian and European cuisine. The ratio price-quality is delight. Friendly service like in a Ukrainian hut.

This was one of my most favorite place to eat in Kiev. I can only recommend this place for good food, service and prices.

We really didn't enjoy our visit. The waiting staff were very strange; one lady bringing us what we thought was a complimentary 'shot' and piece of bread/lard/gherkin stick (which we'd had at an almost identical restaurant, Mitla, the day before - and we didn't enjoy them then!) so she put them down in front of us and we politely accepted... Traditional Ukrainian restaurant with staff dressed in traditional clothing. We got a vodka drink at the end of the meal. The dishes were all very tasty and we did not have to wait too long to get served or get our food. Staaf very friendly and helpful with choosing the dishes we wanted to eat.

It's a nice typical Ukrainian restaurant, with their typical dishes. When you arrive, a smiling woman, dressed with the Ukrainian traditional dress, greets and offers you for free a little glass of "Samagon", the Ukrainian vodka, with a small sandwich. We took four different types of dishes and they were about perfect. We also drank one glass of wine and... More

Dishes are well executed with fresh ingredients, preparation and decorations. Ambiance folkloric but not comfortable: poorly isolated, very cold in winter and playing loud ukranian rap. Service friendly but not super (got appetizers and soup simultaneously). Delicious strawberry mors. @foodpasha

I think this place is the best way to eat Ukranian national dishes in Kiev. Very nice atmosphere and colorful palette. The service is nothing special, just the common things you meet in Ukraine. Food is really good and serving is also great. Great place, highly recommend.

We have been looking for a non-tourist trap kind of restaurant that served authentic Ukrainian cuisine. Found! We were very warmly welcomed, seated, and coats hung up. Ambience folkloric and cozy. Menus are in both Ukrainian and English. Very wide selection, including holuptsi (cabbage rolls). Everything delicious and fresh. Wonderful friendly service. Great Napolean cake! Gave us a discount and... More
