Last night's dining experience at la enoteca in San Salvador was a total delight and delightfully personal and "fresh". The owner of this casual but charming find is Lissette. She has a personality that seems to make everyone a friend (or family) even upon your first visit. There was no menu, Lissette comes to the table and asks what you... More

We went here for a glass of wine and an appetizer. The service was great as was the wine selection. We met the owner. She made us feel welcome. If you go, get a table on the patio (if it is not too humid). I would definitely go back and recommend you give it a try.

One of my family's favorites, nice owner/ chef, we love the perfect pasta and wines and the home made ice cream is to die for. Not open for lunch or on Sundays :(

Great pastas and wine. I highly recommend the red pesto or the spicy truffle sausage pasta. Worth a visit for sure.

Had dinner here with 6 colleagues and it was fantastic. As good as you'll find in the states. Pasta, Veal, Carpaccio were world class. Excellent, warm service. If life brings you to this wonderful country you won't be disappointed dining here.

La Enoteca is an excellent bistro in Zona Rosa; the food is phenomenal, the drink selection superb, the atmosphere is uptrend and fashionable and last but not least, the service is outstanding. Try the carpaccio followed by the veal; it's absolutely wonderful. Notably, the wine selection is vast and complete. This is a perfect spot for an intimate dinner with... More

Delightful small menu. Imaginative pastas, seafood, some beef. Wonderful appetizers especially carpaccios (pulpo). Proprietress is Italian wine importer to ES and has terrific and well priced (for ES) wines. Let them select for you since many wines are obscure. Have eaten here about 10 times in the past year and always extremely pleased.
