Rooms are not very clean and really need to be painted. Restaurant was ok but over priced for the location.

Hotel Summer is a nice place to stay for the day, it offers additional comfort on weekdays as there is a pool, clean bathrooms and pretty good food. On weekend days the place is crowded with loud music, a la nica.
I was blatantly overcharged. I had a fruit punch, my friend had a tiny shrimp cocktail, the bill came out to almost $20 dollars. Same meal would have cost 7 dollars max in the US. Waiter was anxious for me to use my credit card...More
This one of a number of restaurants on the Malecon. On our first day in Managua, we had lunch and beer there. The food there was enjoyable, not great; but the view was spectacular. It's a pleasant place to relax and enjoy Lake Managua. We...More

This restaurant is a glorified fritanga! It is so expensive for the quality. Sure, it is a nice atmosphere but they went way off on the prices. My daughter ordered a $12 ceasar and chicken salad and got iceberg lettuce, how getto can you get?...More
Very clean and right on the beach. Say hi to Ruth the owner, nice lady. They were playing good music too. Nice breeze and you can watch the fishermen from the deck.
Living in Masachapa, I frequent both the local restaurants - Masachapa & Pochomil - for dining. When in Managua, as I am acquainted with their seafood menu, I'll stop in as their food quality is the same across all three. Great value for the price!
Me refiero al restuaurante Summer de Managua, ellos tienen otra sucursal con hotel en Playa Masachapa. El restaurante en Managua tiene muy buenos platillos y precios, servicio un poco lento.
