This place offers a good variety of Nicaraguan cuisine, everything that I've tried here was delicious, it's a good place to taste some of the traditional local food.

A cab driver suggested I come here and he was spot on!! Although the Victoria Frost was C$45...which I feel is a little expensive, the food here is excellent. I would definitely return. I had the Sopa Abondigas followed by Filete Pollo with Jalapeno salsa...absolutely delicious. I should add the pollo comes with salad and rice...plenty for a lunch.

I've been in Nicaragua for 2 years now and generally found, except for a few occasions, the traditional food to be uninspiring and overcooked. But here the food was delicious, despite being a typical nica menu. I would say the best traditional food I've had. You pay a little more than your standard locals joint, but you also get to... Delicious traditional Nicaraguan food, one of the few places that has traditional dishes in a nice location. If you want to try traditional Nica food this is the place to go, it´s usually the first place where I take foreign friends. Breakfasts are really good too!

We' been there with my wife on the first time and some friends on the next. Food is absolutely traditional with a first place for gallo pinto. The menu is extensive and the ambient reminds some places only showed in movies. The staff attends with traditional clothes. A little short on the beer's variety but is OK. Quality / prices... More

I am no expert on Nica food but we enjoyed our meal very much. My husband and I had the brochetas and the meat was so tender and tasty. I tried the typical bunuelos for desert (yucca and cheese mixture, for me tasty and unique). A definitely good spot to try new foods in a nice atmosphere. Air conditioned rooms... More

I tried some new dishes here: caballo Bayo was a lot of heavy metal, also chimichurri sauce which is minced parsely and garlic in olive oil slathered on a grilled steak. Heavy. I loved the semilla de jicaro drink.

Beat expectations- the churassco was good as well as the Yuca Frita. Definitely worth visiting and having a nice Nicaraguan meal in the middle of Managua
