There are TWO "Mi Viejo Ranchitos" in Managua; the GEST of the two is located in "Pueblos Blanco" especially on Sunday, when they BBQ an entire hog and if arrive early enough, you get the best of the pork servings; generous portions, friendly staff, clean....More
Nothing to see here....move along. Same exact food as every comedor/fritanga/typical restaurant. Its even in their name, comida tipico. Which isnt to say thats bad. I love typical food here. Its just that i dont understand why you would pay 10-15 dollars for it, when...More

good traditional food. I know of 3 of these restaurants, not sure how many in total. Food is very good, service when I've eaten there is good and prices are reasonable. Good for families and children.
The best gallo pinto and local food in Managua. It is affordable and great for big family groups. They free wifi too.
