First of al, if you are staying off or near Ave Balboa, it was a long drive. Our Uber driver charged us $15 to get out to the Causeway. We felt like we wanted Panamanian food, and we were recommended Mi Ranchito. Second, there were...More

During our tour, our tour guide recommended this authentic Panamanian local restaurant that overlooks the ocean and is on the Amador Causeway. The food was absolutely amazing. Our tour guide recommended we try the garlic shrimp. With the shrimp, you can choose a starchy side...More

You can not beat the views from this place or the quality of the food. The service could use some improvement, very slow and orders wrong.

This little known restaurant is a popular hangout for locals but doesn't have the national rep of blueberry hill or cicceros in the same area. Many Washington u students and profs frequent here but it is little known outside the area. The Mexican food is...More

We had lunch here and ordered the Panamanian platter; which was enough to feed 3-4 persons and consists of fried everything. All different bites such as chicken, empanadas, bananacookies, fishfingers, yuka, sausage tasted sort of the same. Orangejuice was not fresh. Would not recommend.

Pretty bland food and a tourist spot where people eat once as it is on the causeway. There are better choices. Pricey for the small portions: 4 shrimp in the entree.

Went here because it looked busy and was next to our hotel. Food was pretty average and the margarita we ordered tasted nothing like it should. There are plenty of better places within walking distance

Mi Ranchito Restaurant is the perfect environment to enjoy with family, friends and tourists; a familiar restaurant that offers a menu of varied Panamanian foods, with particular attention in preparing seafood at affordable prices to all visitors. Our style and decoration provides an opportunity to spend an enjoyable time. Part of its structure is a ranch of indigenous Panamanian style in an open-air environment. It is a good place for breakfast, lunch or dinner; enhanced with a happy and live music.
