We were part of a tour group of about 30 people, arriving about 1:30 for a buffet lunch. The decor was well done and very nice. Our lunch consisted of a salad, baked chicken, rice, beef with vegetables and a choice of several very nice desserts. The food was all good. Service was minimal since it was a buffet but... More

We had a great dinner of Panama traditional food. I had the beef dinner while other in our group had the chicken dinner. We all started off with soup then a salad. Then the entrée followed by a dessert. There was a show featuring several local dances. The dancers changed costumes several times to represent the different dance styles. One... More

We went to Tinajas due to the rave reviews we read on Trip Advisor. It was an entertaining evening with a show, but overall, we left with mixed feelings. Here is my breakdown: Service: The service at Tinajas was far from exceptional. In fact, it was borderline unacceptable. This came to us as a surprise, as we enjoyed very good... More

Place is small, the food really sucks for the price you pay. Seems they like bananas a lot here, appetizer & main course with bananas! Not worth it, gets a little boring after watching 1 dance performance.

The place is comfortable and well mounted , you have to make reservations early because places are just better view . It book as at 8 pm for dinner and then watch the dancing . The food and dances are typical of Panama and waiter service is fair to good

This was pathetic. Service as if they were doing us a favor and where we went wrong we booked through viatours where they charged us 480 used for only 5 main courses one drink each a show which you can get if you buy dinner roughly 40 used and 10 for show - whatever you do do not book this... Just a block from our hotel [The Bristol], our concierge recommended this restaurant for genuine Panamanian cuisine. Right in the heart of the business district, there was a party of businessmen at a table nearby at the tail end of the lunch hour. Otherwise we were the only customers. I ordered patacones con ropa vieja [shredded beef over plantain patties... More

Got there too early. Service slow. One drink in show package. Why not have performers work the room some? Portions small. Had to beg for bread. Got annoyed and left before show.

I wanted traditional Panamanian food at a good price and of good quality. It was exactly what I wanted. Try the ropa vieja with patacones. It was tasty.

This is a pleasant folkloric experience. It is a typical touristy event where a lot of people are together in a room, you order a la carte, and after dinner is a dance and music show. Enjoyable. The service is very attentive and friendly. Other guests seemed to be friendly and happy. My shrimp with pineapple was very good, and... More
