Very nice experience. Food was OK - mostly seafood - but go for the Panamanian folklore show at 9pm. Lovely costumes and dances and music. Worth the $10 per person the restaurant charges over and above your meal check.

There was nothing special about the Panamian food in this place. Actually, there was nothing Panamian in their food at all. Outdated and dirty place with dirty windows. The meal was awful. I did not enjoy the dancing show and we paid additional $10 for...More
We take all of our guests to the 9 pm folk dance show. The food is good, especially the sea bass, and the entertainment is pure Panama!

Being new to Panama City we took Las Tinajas on speculation. Being close to the Pacific, Panama is an Indian word meaning place where fishes are caught, we chose the fish dishes and were not disappointed. Variety of choice, helpful waiter and surprisingly affordable.
