I had lunch with family. I ordered scallops and onion rings. I bit into my onion ring and found a hair in it. The owner/manager did come to my table to make things right, however, it truly ruined my meal. I don't think I will return, as Red Barn is closer and to me, by far much better. I didn't take a refund to my meal, as it is a mistake.

I got the snack size scallops substituted onion rings. The onion rings are excellent, however, the scallops that were perfectly fried had no real taste. I will return to try a different protein. The service was fast and very friendly and a clean restaurant.

Had not been to KP's in quite some time. They have expanded to about twice the size it originally was. It is still counter service. The expansion is very nice and clean, the food was still very good, The portions are reasonable as is the pricing. They need to advertise and get their name out.

Was looking for a new place to have seafood . Had read many good reviews here and on Facebook. So we decided to give it a go . We got there at about 5 pm . You walk in , take a menu order at the counter . Dine in or takeout . Woman at counter was friendly . Only one couple in the whole place . We should have turned around and walked but we didn’t . The place seemed clean . We both ordered the seafood basket . We ordered it with onion rings for $1.25 extra . I was nervous about going when I found out the used frozen pre made French fries but I normally get onion rings so not a big deal I thought . While our order is being fried , you can hear and see the cook coughing and coughing and coughing . I’m hoping it’s not all over my food . Gross . By the way the kitchen is right where you eat . You can see and hear everything and I mean everything . So the pleasant woman brought the food to the table on a tray which had the baskets , tarter sauce , 2 small dishes which had a plastic container for the tarter sauce and one square of butter . I could not find the roll so I went to the counter and asked about the missing rolls . She said they were under the food in the basket . I thought that was very strange . Plenty of room on the tray . I have never seen such a thing . So by the time I got to the roll it was all greasy . It’s used as a filler to give you less food . Most of our baskets was tiny shrimp . A few finger like haddock , which at first I could not identify . I have never seen haddock like that ! I think it was frozen and cut and breaded then fried . The clams were flavorless and the breading was falling off. I’ve never seen that either . The seafood was flavorless and I’d question the freshness . To all the people who have written that this is the best seafood they have ever eaten , where the heck have you been eating ? This is my opinion and my own experience . Maybe your will be different 🤷🏻‍♀️

KP is an awesome person, very kind and always says hello when you go to his place. Now the food is to die for this last visit I had the lobster roll. Can't be beat. Onion rings are above and beyond the best I've ever had. Whenever I go home for a visit my first stop is KP's

This is a no frills place and the seafood is cooked fresh and hot at a reasonable price for seafood. Chicken is also available. It comes in a basket family style.

This restaurant is located in the back of a strip mall so it is hard to see from the street. The decor is plain but the place was very clean. We went in for lunch and the place was moderately busy. It's a counter service restaurant but they bring your food to your table. The menu consisted of mostly fried foods such as you'd get at a seaside take out place. I ordered the chicken basket and my wife the haddock basket. The food arrived quickly and to say the portions were generous would be an understatement. Although the food was fried none of it tasted greasy. The taste and temperature of the food was fine. We'll easily get two meals from each basket. We also bought two bottled sodas and our bill was $27. Considering we'll get four meals out of this the price was reasonable. We'll return at a later date and maybe try one of their sandwiches or do a take out if we don't feel like cooking that day.

I was surprised at how small the restaurant was however, they appear to do a lot of takeout business. We had the haddock chowder, it could have been hotter but it was very good. Will try again for some fried seafood.

If you are someone who enjoys the Old Orchard style fried foods you get at and around the pier then this is the place for you. They are located just inside the same strip mall as Roak the Flourist. They have about a dozen or so tables but you can watch them as they prepare and cook your food. The staff is very friendly and they have earned several food awards and been recognized by the city for their success. I love the clam strip latter. When taken to go it comes in a good size box piled high with clam strips, a dinner roll, lots of french fries, and the sauces to go with it all. You have to have an appetite to finish a single basket serving. Their chicken finger platter is good as well. All in all this place is a great stop if you want your fried food or sea food fix for a quick and on-the-go experience. I would highly recommend you try it out.

Not great, not awful.... Just "meh". Daughter and I went in for chicken baskets. Chicken was small and slightly over cooked. Fries were fine, and a large serving, but frozen not fresh. Came with a roll and ketchup but no dipping sauce.

My husband wanted fried seafood - I wanted a chicken basket. Both were really, really good. Service was very friendly and prompt. Place was clean and cute - family atmosphere. We will return.

This was my first visit to the small, neighborhood restaurant. First the good news: the staff is very friendly; the service was prompt and the place was clean. There us zero atmosphere and it is nit even set uo to be the least bit "quaint." I had a mixed seafood sampler. Frankly it was bland and unremarkable. This is definitely not a smart choice for good, Maine seafood. We won't be returning.

The lobster roll had chunks of rich meat, lightly coated in mayo. The bun wasn't fussy, but had a bit of a toasted-butter crunch that complimented the flavor of the lobster nicely. I added lettuce and it was a nice, crisp addition.
