Occasionally there's a day at the office that just calls for a mid-shift drink. I'm a huge fan of their bloodymary (extra horseradish) with a grilled cheese on the side. Quick, to the point, and always satisfying.

I came here for an early dinner. I walked into the mall and came in through their entrance inside the mall (they have a separate entrance that is directly from the parking lot). I chose to sit at the bar. They have a very wide selection of draft beers. I ordered a Dogfish Head draft as well as a bowl of chili along with a salad with shrimp. The chili was very good. The salad was huge with 4 large shrimp. For dessert, I had an Allagash White. I was pleased with my meal. Reagan did a great job behind the bar taking care of me and the other patrons. This place has the vibe of a friendly local pub even though it is at a mall.

Stopped in on a whim with my son. It was a bit different to find since it’s in a mall, which I wasn’t aware of but once we found it, we felt right at home. Small, clean, with friendly service…and the food was delicious!! Very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend!!

The service here is terrible and the food tastes like it was frozen. I ordered stuffed peppers with a soda. I sat by myself at a booth not at the bar which was packed with a bunch of loud local people. Anyway, I got my food and the peppers had very little cheese so I asked for a little more. The server walked by me for almost 20 minutes, said nothing to me, didn’t get my extra cheese or anything. All the sudden she appeared with the cheese and said so I forgot. Wow, the place was not even busy. By that time my food was ice cold. Therefore I asked to have it warmed up. I got it back but now my fork had disappeared. How are you going to eat stuffed peppers without a fork! The server continues to walk right by me without even asking why I pushed my food to the side of table for her to see I have not touched it. Lets see I have been here for almost 1 1/2 hours and been ignored. There has been several people come in orders taken, drinks served (many times over), and meals delivered. Remember I’m sitting right next to the kitchen in a booth. I’m going to complain to the owner, who just walked in.

The hubby and I went to the Restaurant and sat at the bar. The waitress acknowledged our presence and said she would be with us shortly. We waited and waited and waited. The place was not too busy. An older man walked passed us and ask a couple that came and sat at the bar long after we did and served them. He knew we had not been served. I must say my impression was and is : He doesn’t like people of color. My hubby is white and I am not. I am not black, I am Hispanic. Terrible way to fret customers, he should have just hang up a Confederate Flag.

Stopped in while shopping. Great sandwiches, great drinks, great people to visit with at the bar. A local favorite. We will be back.

I meant three friends for lunch at the mall. Thatcher's seemed like a good choice. I had scallops wrapped in bacon. I'm sure they must have been frozen and fried in the deep fryer because they had no flavor at all. I ate two and gave the rest to my friends who didn't like them either. My friends had the French onion soup. they ate the cheese off the top. Both of them said the soup was not very good.

Try the broccoli and cheese haddock at Thatacher's, an old school pub/restaurant in the heart of the Auburn Mall. The food was pretty great, the service was quick and careful and the decor was a sight to behold (think Studio 54 meets Cheers). All in all, great place for a quick bite in Auburn ME

Really good food, not the best service, no one seats you and theirs no sign so I found myself standing there clueless until I found my own seat. The servers looked at us but never bother to tell us to find a seat.

I used to love there french onion soup and go there often. Its been a while but I stopped in for lunch and the food was terrible. The french onion soup was the wrong color and consistency, like it had not been cooked down. Maybe right out of the can Now- I don't know! The salad was thrown together because they were busy with both customers, My wife had a shrimp roll and it looked okay but she said it was "different"? Her french fries were GREAT!!! They gave me a replacement for the soup it was called Lasagna soup that looked and tasted like and I believe was chef boy ardee right out of the can with water added. I miss the GREAT food they used to have, but understand cutbacks. GREAT FRENCH FRIES.

My husband and I took our Grandson to Thatcher's for his birthday. He had a fantastic hamburger, my husband had broiled scallops that he loved and I had a delicious sandwich. Everything comes with two sides so no matter what you order you have plenty to eat. The service was also very good. Since our Grandson lives in Lewiston he will be going back many more times.

Good food and full bar- often will come here for food without any interest in the mall - it's that good. Just simple pub style food.

A good size menu, good prices, service. The fish & chips are some of the best in town. It's located in the Auburn Mall (which isn't much of a mall).
