We are a high energy restaurant with a vibrant neighborhood bar and grill appeal. Though we are known for our steaks, you will find there is something on the menu to please anyone in your group. We serve Choice Black Angus beef which is hand cut daily on the premises. Whether you are looking for a full course meal, or just out for a cold beer and a great burger, you are sure to feel right at home. So, throw on your most comfortable jeans and join us for a great meal and lots of laughs. This was our second visit and sadly it was disappointing. We got a seat very quickly which was great as there seemed to be a wait after we were sat. The margarita I had was not good and I didn’t even drink a third of it. I ordered a ribeye instead of the sirloin so I would have a tender steak but unfortunately it was extremely chewy. The service was slow as we finished our meal and didn’t get our check for 15 mins. We were disappointed with this visit.

Poor Hostess

We were there with a party of eight. It is very difficult to understand why on earth we were made to wait for our table because two in our party had not arrived yet. The table was ready and yet we were made to stand in the aisle where servers were trying to get through with heavy trays of food. If we had been sat at our table we would have ordered drinks and appetizers which would have insured a better tip for our server. The hostess was not very welcoming. Your loss, we will not return.

Excellent steak, great service, nice ambiance. Appreciate that the owner supports veterans. We took my dad here and we sat in a nearly empty part of their space so that he could hear us, but I'd come back with friends for dinner or to go to the bar or with my spouse for date night. There's fish, pasta, chicken, and vegetarian options on the menu so it's a good place to bring people with different eating habits. Fun environment, really good food, good beer on tap selection, friendly and helpful waitstaff.

The fresh French fries they are known for were as greasy and overcooked as th fried haddock. Large portion but who wants to finish the plate when served like this? My 16 oz ribeye was ordered as medium rare and served as medium. Very disappointing for a frequent diner at this restaurant.

Best meat and cheese Lasagna

I have been to Mac's several times and have always been served promptly. The staff is friendly and efficient, despite how busy they always seem to be. Mac's grill is where the locals go to eat. The food is very tasty and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to eat in the L/A area.

They use to serve bread and salad before the dinner. Apparently not anymore? Food was terrible. Mashed Potato tasted like dirt, as though they weren’t washed. Meat was supposed to have the tumbleweed rub on it and when I told the waitress she didn’t believe me. Why would I lie? Coleslaw was prepackaged. Food was flavorless. Is there no chef in the kitchen? A complete waste of money. Never use to be so bad.

It's usually pretty decent but last night not so much. We ordered takeout and when we picked it up the two women behind the bar were not very pleasant. My burger was supposed to be medium well but was mooing at me, very red. My wife's wrap had no dressing in it, was dry. Maybe just a rough night I guess. Who knows.

Used to have the best crab meat stuffed mushrooms.....now it's all filler and no lovely sauce. Baked stuffed haddock had terrible runny sauce. Summer squash and zucchini were overcooked and bland. Definitely not worth the $50 plus I paid.

Stopped for dinner after a full day of hiking. The 6 oz fillet was cooked perfectly. So tender. Sweet potato fries and side salad rounded out my meal. Quick friendly service. Yup. I’m a fan.

The last couple of times have not been good,in the pass it's been a 5 star.Today we had coconut shrimp and chicken tenders and two beers.The girl at the bar was ok, but it took her about ten minutes to get menus to us.The food seem to take awhile so it appears they forgot or it might have been the time they spent on the three wrong order at the bar for others.The shrimp was just a little warm, just didn't want to wait longer and the chicken tenders were hot.The chicken cost more then the shrimp, well not really but ten shrimp for $11.00 & chicken 4 small strips or $10.00 didn't seem to make sense.Oh well we were full but now we are home and both of us hitting the pepto.We have in the pass had some great meals here but sorry to say we are done. Management has gone and i'am sure they lost Quality & control.

We used to get bread before our meal and a mint after. We were used to being greeted professionally and then when leaving asked how it was, thank you for coming and please come again real soon. We got nothing of the sort. In fact, we had to excuse ourselves walking between three waitresses talking. It is the little things that bring you back. Not sure it’s worth bothering anymore. We can cook a steak for far less at home anyway. And also, what really topped it off - they no longer keep their bathrooms clean. If they don’t care then we don’t care to go there anymore.

First time visit. Staff was prompt. Have to say I had the best blackened salmon with a lemon sauce that I have ever had anywhere. The steak was good as well but the salmon!! We will be back for sure next time in the area

This is a casual steak house with great food! Prices are moderate/expensive. Went there for a special occasion, and it was worth it. Good draft beer options as well as good steak dishes.
