We stopped in to Rolly’s Diner after stumbling upon it on a trip to Auburn. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, even though it was a very busy Saturday morning, and the food was great. I got the Big Breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, cottage fries (just homefries, really, next time I would get the potato poppers), and crepe. My boyfriend got the bacon skillet, which looked, smelled, and tasted amazing. Our waitress seemed to come over to refill our coffee every time we raised our mugs for a sip, so we were never without it! We’ll definitely be back!

Our first visit, impressed with bright interior. Sat at bar, immediately greeted by our server Emma, who was awesome. Coffee flowed continuously, most tables occupied on Wednesday morning. We ordered chili skillet & "The Boss" breakfast sandwich with side of puffs\tots. Both very tasty, tots were best ever. Highly recommend this place, would definitely return.

My wife and I just got through having lunch at Rolly's Diner, ln Auburn, Maine. What a treat. Our waitress was Rita, who was as pleasant a person as I have ever met. She presented us with the menu and that ever present smile. She is 82 years old and has worked their for 24 years. She knows just about everyone that comes into the diner. I had a western sandwich with pea soup and my wife had a up of chili and a ruben sandwich. Rita chatted with us while working the tables and our wait time was minimal. Our meal was served hot and delicious. Thanks to Rita, we are going back to Rollie's tomorrow.

My Gal and I and her Sister went there for breakfast. I found Rolly's searching via Google Maps for a hometown breakfast place. I prefer these kinds of eateries to chains and we were no disappointed. Great menu with interesting selections, nice atmosphere, and a terrific server, Chris. Food was delicious. I had the Hungry Man Skillet. It held me over till a late dinner.
I now have a go to place when I'm in the Auburn area.

Super busy on a Saturday morning. Got right in and Rita was outstanding.
Coffee always coming .
Food was delicious and they were cranking out breakfast.
The fried bologna n egg was so yummy!
Stop by you won’t be disappointed!

Great place to go for breakfast, but expect to wait. But it will be worth it!!! They have an amazing breakfast menu. There food is always delicious and hot. Two important things for me.

Our first, but NOT last time. Easy parking and no wait for tables. The menu is varied and you can get breakfast anytime. I had the lunch special soup and sandwich ($6.75). You can get either a large bowl of soup/stew/chowdah/chili and a full-size sandwich (good selection of sandwiches) or you can do like I did- get 2 CUPS of 2 different soups/stews/chowdah and the sandwich. I got fish chowdah and corn chowdah. Both were excellent. And I had a grilled Swiss cheese on rye that was done perfectly. You also get chips and a pickle. My wife had a tuna melt ($7.25) that was huge and it came with your choice of potatoes and slaw. She had tater-tots that were really good. Service was fast and friendly. Drink refills are complimentary. My only issues were 1) the food did take a bit to arrive and 2) their slaw is not to our liking. But then all non-Southern slaw is usually too sweet, too runny, too finely chopped and too “horseradishy”.
We will definitely put this on our list of favorites in the Lewiston/Auburn area of Maine.
They also have a list of great sounding desserts and they serve scrumptious looking crepes including one that is a chocolaholic’s delight.

Although Rolly's is an average diner situated in the New Auburn district of Auburn, Maine, I think some of the reviewers have it a little overhyped. The restaurant is clean yet very small and cramped, always decorated for holidays, popular with locals, the service is friendly, and the food is average. The parking lot is always full, so that's a good sign, but you just won't be "wowed" when you eat here. On a side note, I don't know which way you lean on politics, but Rolly's seems to be quite conservative leaning when it comes to personnel. So, liberals beware.

I'm not jumping on the "BEST BREAKFAST IN TOWN" bandwagon, you know that's relative to how many breakfast places there are in town. IF THIS IS THE BEST! THAN HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!
I was expecting it to be better because of the HYPE. They must make good crepes because the omelette was just average. They put butter flavored oil on the toast not real butter. McDonalds has better coffee in my experience.
Which leads me to believe the displays of awards and accolades are manufactured for your viewing pleasure NOTICE NONE OF THEM HAVE DATES ON THEM AND THERE ARE NO PHOTOS of the events as proof. Well if you're going to bamboozle people THEN M_____F_____ BAMBOOZLE THEM, They are just that stupid aren't they. They'll believe what you tell them instead believing their own taste buds.

Rolly’s has been one of my favorites for years, I must come here 2-3 times a month. The service is always excellent, the food delicious and they always come by to refill your coffee. The only downfall is their lack of seating, unless you get one of the two tables by the window you’re almost shoulder to shoulder with a bunch of strangers. I wish they would move to a bigger spot someday!

Friendly, fast service in a local diner that goes way out to decorate for every holiday. The food is good diner fare. They are always busy and locals are faithful customers. Breakfast on the weekend is a wait to get in. Small in size but worth the trip.

Great local diner. Nothing fancy but it delivers. Perfect for breakfast. Enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and side of ham. Plenty to choose from and down home local vibe.

This is a very good diner with friendly service and clean. They have good homemade specials. Owners, own and operated and usually at least one member of the staff is part of their family.
It’s usually busy but the turn over is generally good. Not gluten free but they do pouched eggs that work well for me.
