A better than average breakfast menu. Enjoyed the red flannel hash and the poached eggs were done perfectly. Home made bread is definitely a plus for their very good wheat toast. Service was good. The only mediocre flavor was the coffee.

This is a small family run restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. We stop there for breakfast on each trip to Rangeley during the summer. Home made breads are great including the raisin bread and cinnamon apple. Nothing fancy, but tasty and filling. Sure, service can be slow when they're busy, but what can you expect? During school season, the college... More

A very good place for breakfast and the wait staff is always friendly however the service is sometimes slow. Still worth a try and we will certainly be back.

The breakfast at The Center Street Cafe was a good value. We enjoyed the "Classic Benny," (eggs Benedict), and a garden omelette, both of which were competent, but not outstanding. The hash browns were a bit under-cooked, but the homemade bread was excellent, although we did had to ask for it a second time. The only complaint is that the... More

First we had to wait about 1/2 and hour just to get seated not bad for a fathers day. This is when the problem came in. Waitress took our order and told us to get comfortable? 40 minutes later it came out. The other bad news was when the bill came now none of us had steak or anything like... More

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 10 AM, line out the door. We were served coffee quickly by our personable waitress. The food took much longer. However, we were brought a warm gooey fresh cinnamon bun gratis, for the wait. Mmmmmmm, nom, nom, nom. The omelettes were well balanced, toast was from fresh made bread, and the home... More

My eggs were cooked perfectly and the homemade corned beef hash was superb! My wife said her omelet was one of the tastiest she had ever had. The most amazing thing was how fast we were waited on and served! And it was a busy morning with only one waitress on duty. It was the owners' daughter. I forget her... More

Huge menu, home cooked style food. Perfect for a hearty breakfast. Corned beef hash is made on site, all kinds of creative pancakes (like apple crisp and almond joy), and several variations of eggs Benedict. This place is not fancy but the food is great!

Saw it was busy and decided to try it. Pricey for low quality, small portion and not great food. Staff is nice ( on some days; stopped by on another occasion but had to leave for other reasons) but the restaurant itself is tired and it reflects( Perfect job for Robert Irvine). Will not go there again and wouldn't recommend... More
