Went with a group for Birthday/early dinner to pick crabs. Decent casual dining. They had the paper down and mallets ready when we arrived. Pretty basic, corn on the cob, crab and apple sauce. I think that covers gluten free. Always love a casual atmosphere....More
Cantlers is an absolute must visit if your travels bring you to the Baltimore or Annapolis area. Grab a seat on the back porch and enjoy a tray full of steamed crabs. Doesn't' get any better! Parking can be a challenge but the staff manages...More
The crabs are what people come here for. This little restaurant is right on the river. You can see the fresh blue crabs stacked up in cleaning tubs on the bottom floor. The place is abuzz with families all sitting at outdoor picnic tables under...More

Brown paper as table clothes told me this was going to be fresh and potentially messy seafood. Crabs are just that and everyone knows "Maryland is for Crabs!" Maryland can be proud of this place. If I was with other, perhaps I would have chatted...More
I love seafood of all types and found Cantler's to be right up there meeting my expectations. Quality was good and service prompt. Most importantly, you gotta get the crab hat - pay the bartender.
