Efficient service, good breakfasts (N.Y. style eggs and lox), fine pancakes, good and unlimited coffee. Nice atmosphere, busy, a bit noisy but friendly

Reliable good quality food, friendly service. Good value. When they're very crowded it can be a tad slow but they do quite well. We choose Lone Wolf for breakfast more often than any other Amherst spot.

Visited for coffee and pastry on a rainy, cold afternoon and was restored to sanity. Coffee variety and whole-grain breads were a comfort.

We come here several times a month. Great coffee and breakfast. My "go to" is the "Wilbur" - a breakfast sandwich that's just way better than what a breakfast sandwich should be (English muffin, eggs over easy, Swiss cheese, bacon, caramelized onions) - and a side of fruit. Love the omelette choices and the Benedicts too.

We were a party of 5, three adults, one toddler and one infant. The service was perfect. We did not wait too long, even dough was a Saturday. Coffee was fresh. Each one of us ordered different food so we could try from each other. We had multigrain blueberry pancakes kids size, they tasted amazing. Just perfect. We had Greek... More

A very pleasant, clean, bright space with art on the walls, prompt and pleasant service. Good food and hearty portions.

My daughter is a post grade student and lives in Amherst Ma, which is, anyway you look at it, the epitome of a student town. When we walked into the lone wolf on a wet Sunday afternoon for breakfast, the immediate feeling was landing in a typical American college movie, each table with its group or couple of local student... The Lone Wolf recently catered my daughter’s Amherst wedding, and we were extremely pleased with the food and the service. The night before the wedding, we had a rehearsal dinner at the restaurant on Main St in Amherst. It was just right for our party of about 40 ceremony participants and family members. The room is warm and intimate. The... More

I loved the juevos rancheros, tofu scramble, and other veggie options. Nice, local joint. If you aren't gluten free, try the challah french toast.

When I travel for business, I look for places that have oatmeal (because you can only eat eggs and bacon so may times). The oatmeal here was outstanding! Cooked apples, strawberries and cinnamon all mixed into a king sized serving. Forget your ideas of how bland oatmeal can be - give it a try!

Thank Steve C
