Judies has been around for many, many, years. The food has always been consistent, good, and creative. It is right on the main street so you can watch all the activities while enjoying a nice glass of wine. the menu is extensive and fits all life styles and food urges. and then those award winning popovers. got to have one... My husband and I came here for lunch with our 16 month old son while on vacation. It was a weekday so it wasn't very busy but we were closely seated to others with no kids so I was worried we may be too loud. The waitress was really nice and said she had a son around the same age... More

I meet a few friends at this restaurant often for lunch. There is always something interesting and unusual on the menu. The popovers are huge and freshly prepared. One drawback. Parking in Amherst is such a pain. Wish the town would do something about it.

The food was good but the restaurant was a bit noisy and crowded. The menu has so many choices with a vary wide range of options so I am not sure they do anything exceptionally well. Ate here with family and found the food good, just not great. Prices were reasonable, ambiance was just ok. Don't expect a quiet relaxing... More

We were on a short visit to Amherst. Little did we know it was parents weekend at a local college! We thought going to the restaurant late in the afternoon would mean no problem. Boy! Were we wrong. We managed to get there before the wait jumped to over an hour. We read in a Trip Advisor review that this... More

Party of five for a late lunch ... not too busy. Those in the know told us that Judie's is amazing! Unfortunately, it didn't quite live up to the hype and our high expectations. Everything was fine but no one was blown away. It was a warm day, and the water wasn't served with any ice cubes. :( Didn't know... More

Excellent food. Good service. Huge jumbo size pop overs served with your meal giving you a more home cooking type of feel something my husband truly enjoyed.

There is another review on here about how many (too many) ingredients are in the food here and I have to agree with that, it was difficult to find something without a disagreeable ingredient in there!! Anyway, the staff were very friendly and efficient, they were very happy to explain what a popover is - go and find out, they're... More

This is a great place to have a nice healthy but quirky meal. The meals usually have a fun element to them and the cold soups are fantastic. Definitely try Judie's popover and apple butter if you get the chance!

We have been going to Judie's for years. It has a varied menu and everything tastes great. But whatever you order, be sure to get a popover. You can have one with a salad, or have it as a sandwich, or even get it stuffed with your entree. But no matter what you get here, it will probably be more... More
