This was a once in a lifetime experience! Catching cod (18 fish in 10 minutes, next to a breathtaking waterfall) in a pristine fjord was thrilling enough, but then to eat it in an exquisitely prepared meal 30 minutes later was incredible! It's definitely not...the easiest restaurant to get to, but I implore you to make it happen!More

The best food we have had in Greenland so far. The restaurant is one hour boat ride away from Nuuk. The place has gorgeous views. You can come with the fish you have fished, or you can order from the menu. We came with or...fish and they prepared it for us. First we had a soup, the best fish soup I have ever had, then they cooked the fish steamed and fried with different sauces (spinach, red curry, oyster). It comes with rice, potatoes and veggies. It was a great GREAT meal. And we are picky people. It cost around 330 KK to get them « bring your fish » menu. No regrets, money very well spent!More

How do you describe such an amazing place? We caught the water taxi, caught a fish and then was dropped onto this stunning location. The owner chatted to us about his restaurant while one of the chef's explained about the red fish we caught as...he filleted it. This is a truly magical place and well worth the ride out from Nuuk. Don't miss it if you get the opportunity.More

Fantastic place. The sailing trip to the restaurant is amazing. On the way we stopped and caught our own fish. Brought them to the restaurant and the chef prepared them for us. The staff is friendly and smiling. The scenery is amazing. Bring spray with...you though because just outside the restaurant the area is overrun with mosquitoes.More

The visit to Qooqqut requires a boat, but if you have this option, you should give priority to a stop at the restaurant. We had caught some fish on our way into the fjord and brought four redfish. Instead of ordering lunch, we ordered the...preparation of our fish and got some splendid dishes. Both steamed and fried. The location of the restaurant is great and you can only get the pulse down and enjoy the well-prepared food.More

Went with friends. We sailed there and caught fish on the way. The restaurant will prepare your freshly caught fish, which is really cool. The food is tasty and served in bowls/plates for the table to share, side dishes of rice or potatoes. Thy have...a good wine selection and the chef can recommend a good wine for you. Friendly staff and a very casual feeling to the place. Good service, but keep in mind that it's a small restaurant on a remote location, so they can't accommodate any wish. From the outside it doesn't look like that much, and as it is a open-by-season restaurant which probably creates a. Red for easy to keep interior, the inside could do with a touch up. The plastic mats on the table doesn't do much for the otherwise really nice experience.More

Visited this restaurant last year during the Qooqqut Nature Festival. No other options around as this restaurant is in the middle of nature and accessible by private boat only! The selection on the menu was not that extensive - included meat sandwiches, a "Greenlandic platter",...burgers, etc., was pretty pricey, but I'll give 'em one thing: The view is a stunner. So, whilst the food itself was just ok, extra points for the beautiful setting!More

You sail for an hour or more and get to the bottom of a fjord-arm where you find four-six houses scattered around - and a wonderful little restaurant, supplying a good meal and a friendly atmosphere

Qooqqut Nuan offers great food, good service and the most magnificent location deep in the Godthåbs-fiord - a must-see when you visit Nuuk!
