These are truly delicious cookies. It's hard to pick a favorite. Love the Florentine, linzer and chocolate ginger. They use quality ingredients so all the cookies are very good. Can't go wrong, just pick your favorite! Prices have gone up over the years. I remember paying 60 cents a cookie and was shocked when they went up to 75 cents.... More

You have never tasted better or richer cookies than Lakota Bakery. Their lace cookies drizzled in chocolate are memorable and addictive although one or two are very satisfying. This bakery is not your average place. The owner is very generous to events in town.

I cannot go here very often, because I would raise my cholesterol greatly. All their cookies are fabulous, buttery, not too sweet, melt in your mouth. My faves are the mocha sandwich and the crescents, but the are all to die for!

You will not be disappointed by ANY of the cookies. Each one is scrumptious. A bit expensive, but worth it. If you are in the mood for a special treat, or are going to a special occasion, you will definitely be pleased.

I have yet to taste anything from the Lakota Bakery that wasn't delicious--especially treats dipped in dark chocolate. The taste is enhanced by the opportunity to watch the goodies being made through the window when the storefront is closed. Everything has a melt-in-your-mouth quality that is absolutely heavenly.

Lakota is the best place in the world, I think, to buy cookies. They use the finest ingredients, have a terrific selection of kinds of cookies, and excel in making a fine and very tasty cookie. These cookies are special, not like anything you'd find in the store or even another bakery.

Lakota is one of Arlington's little gems. The cookies, as well as other pastries, are spectacular, the service equal to the product. The Florentines have become famous because they were featured in an America's Test Kitchen segment, and they deserve the rave. This is an excellent place to pick up a box of treats when visiting, or just to munch... More

Barbara and Lakota Bakery are celebrating their 25th anniversary. They make amazing cookies. Her secret is more butter and less sugar. She is also a great businesswoman who takes great care of her staff.

Fabulous cookies and some of the best brownies in the area, both with nuts and without. Large variety of cookies.

This is my go-to when I need to bring something a little (a lot) indulgent to a friend or neighbor. These cookies are simply the most amazing, delicious things around. Favorites include: Butter Walnut, Raspberry Linzer, Apricot Linzer, and the Coconut Macaroons. Worth the trip and worth the calories!
