food was a 4 - enjoyed the scallops, brussels sprouts and cannelloni. Only giving a 3 because we asked for it all to come out at the same time and it didn't, and after the waitress realized we weren't ordering drinks she suddenly went cold...on us. sorry but not everyone drinks at dinner.More

My wife and I had a fabulous meal at Proprietors Restaurant over her Birthday weekend. We were intrigued by the Appetizer and Dinner Menu selections which provided a blend of Ethnic food flavors from Mediterranean to Asian, so we decided to order multiple appetizers as...a meal and enjoyed every one! Our server was delightful and so helpful in guiding us around the menu choices, and her recommendations for the carrot hummus, cold sesame noodles, fried broccoli, and red lentil falafel were spot on! We closed out our dining experience and shared a fabulous piece of apple cake. We had a wonderful dining experience and would return again!More

This was our last dinner on Nantucket the week of 9/14 and we had an excellent meal. The restaurant has a dark, rich interior which brings a warmth to the setting. We had the fried broccoli and cold sesame noodles as our starters. Both were...excellent and paired nicely together as both had an Asian flair. We split the chicken fried trout. It was also excellent. This was a great place to eat.More

Delicious food and attentive, courteous staff. We very much enjoyed our anniversary dinner at your restaurant. The buttermilk chicken was amazing.

Although we had booked weeks in advance and were looking forward to eating at The Proprietors, we were seated in a little unappealing room on our own, next to a very noisy door... even though other nicer tables seemed empty. We had to leave without...eating which totally ruined our experience... too bad as it was our last night in Nantucket... we will leave with a bitter sweet memory of the island :-(More

My boyfriend and I are both in Nantucket for the first time and got a reservation at Proprietors for the first night and we couldn’t have been happier. We had an 8:45pm reservation and they gave us a table, yet we didn’t like the location....They told us we could wait another 20 mins on the bench and they even came and brought us cocktails as we waited. Then they gave us a fabulous table. The food was incredible and we cleared every plate. Must get the fried green tomatoes and artisanal greens and Korean short ribs. Manny was the best waiter ever!!!!!! If you go request Manny because he was awesome! Can’t wait to come back and for sure will be back to Proprietors for a meal!More

We stumbled across this AMAZING restaurant - lots of unique dishes to try such as fried broccoli - hamachi - salads etc .... wonderful drinks - excellent service - hope to go back
