We asked the White Elephant front desk “where do the locals eat” and were told this restaurant. The menu and prices were great however the service and atmosphere were poor.

We always hit up the Brotherhood everytime we're on the island, but were disappointed this time. Service was slow and not the best. Food was average at best. We were seated upstairs, which isn't our favorite and this time seemed like they were just stashing...people up there as overflow. We've had much better food here, and is always a standby, so just chalking it up to a bad day.More

Don’t skip the peanut butter and jelly pie. Ummm In addition the drinks were amazing. I am always a red wine drinker but they talked me into a drink and even invented one based on our likes and it was awesome. We liked it so...much we went there twice for a midday lunch and drinks. Also the lobster bisque is second to noneMore

Short and sweet.....this great spot. Service is friendly and efficient, food and drink are delicious. The crab cake sliders were some of the best crab cakes I've ever had and the bushwhackers rivaled those I've had in the Caribbean. Add Brotherhood to the list when...you visit ACK.More

My family and I had a great relaxed lunch here. The clam chowder was delicious and so were the burgers, but the lobster bisque with the flaky crust was really something special. They don't take reservations, but we didn't have a problem getting a seat....We'll definitely be back again!More

This worked for us for a quick drink and a bite to eat while shopping in the area. Burger & fries were excellent! It’s a dark tavern kind of atmosphere though, so if you are looking for ambience, keep that in mind! Highly recommend the...crab cake appetizerMore

Great service, casual atmosphere and some great dishes for lunch or dinner. Highly recommend the crab cake sandwich or sliders and the lobster bisque!

Love this old place, but the food has gotten pretty bad. Meanwhile you still pay Nantucket prices. I had some kind of seafood newburge thing that was barely cooked. Surprised I didnt get sick

While on Nantucket for a day, we tried the highly recommended Brotherhood of Thieves. For those that want a water view, this is not - it’s in town, a little off the beaten track. But, if you’re looking for excellent food and service, this is...your place. The shrimp were huge, perfectly cooked and the cocktail sauce had enough of a kick without making your eyes water. We went for their signature dish of 35 years - the lobster bisque that was topped with a light flaky, pie crust. It was outstanding. Service and food were top notch. Kudos to our server - she never missed a beatMore

Have been coming here since the mid-70s and have never been disappointed Service is prompt and friendly, food is reliably excellent.
