First of all there was a huge line to get a table, but we waited for it and did not regret. The fish was super good and cheap. The only annoying thing is the huge amount of people. But the waiter was doing his best to serve everyone fast.

Food in Split is expensive, so we where surprise when we found a place that was ok priced. But the cutlery was dirty, the fries where half done, the rice inside the soup was hard. The tuna in the pasta was caned and the spaghetti was cut and completely over cooked. Completely disappointing, not worth to try.

Finally found a place with decent portion that I left with a satisfied tummy. Ordered Cuttlefish ink risotto and dry cod stew both were great. Both tables next to us are locals. So I don't understand why people said it's a tourist trap. Service was straightforward and efficient. Staff were busy but friendly so don't expect a Michelin restaurant kind... More

We came here for lunch and sat in one of the tables right at the very front, position perfectly in the sun. Not a lot of fish on the menu which I was surprised about, I asked for the mixed seafood and they didn't have it but said they would give me one bream and one seabass instead. Prices we're... More

A good, basic eating establishment which gets very busy. The menu has a wide range of foods but only three fish dishes. Starter of risotto with cuttlefish ink was very tasty as were the sea bass and sea bream. Accompanying grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes complemented the meal nicely and were sound recommendations by the waiter. House white is ok... More

My husband and I was in Split for a holiday and we decided to check Fife out. It was certainly pretty affordable as to compared to the rest of the other restaurants. The staff was friendly and the food was great!

At least 3 locals recommended this place to me. Although the service was a little slow, I can't complain about the food. The black risotto was great, the fish wash very fresh, and the servers friendly, although like I said a little slow. Somebody told me that the quality of the food has gone down in recent times, but I... More

My partners meal was good, my seafood not so great. The meal sizes are very generous. The prices are quiet inexpensive, But everything was rushed it seemed all about turnover. Chances are you'll be sharing tables with people. Bit of a tourist trap!

My friend's breaded squid and French fries was very good. My lamb with peas was not. I had wanted to try something other than seafood as we had eaten seafood everyday for more than a week. As we left the woman who had seated us asked about our meals. She said I should have asked the waitress what I would... More

We were told this is the local hideout. The food here is cheap and good and i managed to sip their local red wine on the tab. Food is much way cheaper and really delicious. Would definetly recommend to others.
