The only reason this is a four star review is because my Husband liked his food but it didn't blow him away He had the traditional fish stew and even though we appreciate and expect bones, it got a little laborious fishing them all out. HOWEVER is this review was just on my squid dish then it would be FIVE... More

The offer includes traditional Dalmatian dishes and Dalmatian wines that are extraordinarily complementary. Friendly and cheerful staff as well as the friendly owner gives a special touch to the atmosphere! Must try "Tuna Pašticada" and seafood rissoto! It is good for brunch time and they are friendly to vegetarian and vegans! :)

We were welcomed and seated by a very friendly waiter who helped us with our menu choices. I had the fresh grilled squid and my friend had the sea bass. Both meals were served in good time and delicious. We opted for some bread to soak up the juices and the bread was so soft, brown and tasty we ate... More

I read about this place on two food blogs for Split as well as Rick Steves guide so I figured we must eat here for dinner. Our food wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great. I thought with all of the buzz regarding their food, I was expecting more. I think we could have gone somewhere else and got better quality... More

The whole of Split (sorry, Dalmatia) (sorry, Croatia!) is a delight for fish lovers. Small places like this are buying today's catch fresh off the boats, simply grilling it and serving with a buzara sauce and the excellent local wines. We had superb marinated sardines, fried calamari and grilled tuna and sardines. It isn't gourmet but who wants that when... More

One evening we decided, that we wanted something really local - and we were recommended to try Sperun. I suggest you book a table in advance, because the restaurant was full. It seems to be famous among tourists, yet it has the local touch! The menu listed a number of Dalmatian specialities - and you can also find the popular... More

This restaurant has a lovely ambience and the staff are very friendly. The tuna and sardines were absolutely excellent and the squid was also very good. The house wine was not as good as elsewhere and I would not order the pasta again, but I would definitely recommend it for the fish.

Staff were really friendly from the moment we stepped in. More spacious than it appears on the street this restaurant has an authentic atmosphere with lots of local delicacies to try.

A comfortable restaurant with very nice food on offer. Their steak wasn't that great but their seafood was excellent. If you do go here make sure you start with the muscles.

Went for a late dinner with friends and were greeted with much enthusiasm! Ordering was prompt and food came out unexpectedly quickly, but the quality was not lacking. Recommended.
