This restaurant is on first floor inside the old palace area. Focus is on seafood. We tried octopus carpaccio and then the mixed fish to share. Superb cuisine, would happily dine here again. Good value and good service, well worth a visit.

Having perused TA listings before our visit, I thought that Apetit would be our sort of place - and it was ! Rather low key and contemporary in style, the service is good and friendly and the food excellent. We shared a plate of ham, some bread and an excellent mixed salad to start, I had grilled bream and Mr... More

In Croatia you should eat fish! Reasonable prises for high quality fish. Did you know that even Japan imports fish from Croatia for high quality sushi!? Even if Mediterranean Sea is polluted, the Croatian Adriatic coast is very clean, so the fish is very good. I visit Split almost year, and Apetit is in my opinion one of the best... More

We went with a large group as a tour. The food was so salty. Since we went as a group of 15, I am not sure if the cooking is any different than individuals but the octopus was so salty that we had to rinse a with water. The beef was okay, not something to crave for.

There are many places in Split which are worthy when it comes for good food and ambient, but Apetit is a step higher, the place is just like an oasis inside of the stone city, beautiful atmosphere and really great food. Still a little expensive for domestic people, but it's really worth to spend few more bucks here ;)

Entrance is a unassuming and gives no hint of how nice a place this is. Really pretty little restaurant with lots of original stone walls showing and a nice barrel vault in one section. Food and service are first-rate. Grilled sea bass and gnocchi were very good and leave room for the chocolate soufflé for dessert. Waiters speak very good... More
