We had lunch here & were happy to have found this place. Incredibly fresh seafood, done simply but delicious. The staff are all so friendly & were very helpful with suggestions too. I would highly recommend making it your mission to find this place (it's a little tricky, so get your map & directions).

The menu changes everyday (I think). Had the 'Shrimps' Buzara (was infact scampi) which was fresh and it was just delicious! Was the best food I had in my journey. However it is not for those who loved garlic though. The boyfriend had a local Croatia dish - beans stewed with sausage which he loves but guess not suitable for... More

Always great food here and amazing service. We waited for the slow roasted veal and potatoes. It was incredible, the meat was soft and buttery, it was heaven. The cakes after were also heaven. All tourists must try this place if you can.

We visited the restaurant based on good reviews. The first night the restaurant was nearly empty, but when we wanted to go back the second day for dinner (24.12.),it was full of locals who were celebrating a birthday. We wanted to make a reservation the day before - because of Christmas Eve, but we were told that they don't make... More

This place will be a bit hard to locate at first. But, once you enter be ready to dwelve in jazz tunes while Ivana prepares your meal and you can look over the counter in the open kitchen. You want an authentic experience you have to give this place a visit. It is a MUST. We tried the fish and... More

WOW. this is a hidden gem in a small alleyway. Very small place. IMPORTANT...make an early reservation...when food runs out it is gone. This is a great family run place. The prepare what they decide to cook that day and present it on a written board by the front door. Literally, while you are dining and as food runs out,... More

My boyfriend and I read the reviews before visiting this restaurant so arrived early for lunch to avoid the queues! Soon after 12.30pm there were already people queuing to get in! The menu was handwritten and we could see the staff bringing in the fresh food! We had sting ray and calamari it tasted incredible! The food was also amazing... More

Try to imagine what would "la mama" cook for you and you are your favourite child. And imagine a smell of good food and a warm welcome. This is it - a wide range of mediterranean delights and one of the best roast pork ever (yes, ever).

We heard about this place and were able to catch it on a slow day. It's very small inside which can be frustrating but it was worth it. We watched them cook in front of us and had a very good local meal. We will come back and try other foods as we went more generica but now see that... More
