This is one of my favorite spots to have lunch with my family in Split. The setting and the prices haven't been changed in years and the quality of food is consistent. If you enjoy fresh fish and seafood this is place for you.

Followed other reviews and visited this nice restaurant during our visit to Split. Friendly waiters were very accommodating and the food was great, especially the fish.

We ate here two nights ago and were not disappointed by the standard of the food, atmosphere and service. Two ate Seabass and one Tuna. The portion sizes were good and the food extremely fresh. The waiter was attentive and helpful. A lovely restaurant away from the bustle of the tourist area. Would definitely recommend. The only criticism would be... More

Recommended as non touristy by tourist info & was very tourist driven with a big party which arrived at the same time as us. Partner had cheese in breadcrumbs & salad. I had soup & daily special of risotto with spinach & shrimps. Really rice with grilled shrimps on skewers. Service initially welcoming but food took a while, maybe due... More

Some reviews criticise the oily appearance of the meals. This is right but you get a high quality olive oil that seemed to me quite suitable for the dishes. Tasty bread; wine by glass was good and reasonably priced. One rainy evening we sat inside, downstairs in a cosy room. Another day we could use the outside terrace which was... More

This place has the best service, ,the best food, and the best overall atmosphere of any restaurant I have eaten in for year!!! Value for money, fresh seafood, gnocchi the local way, and the best recommendations from the waiter. 10 out of 10. Honestly, I wasn't even going to write this review, because I didn't want the place to get... More

The konoba is just outside the heavily touristed old town. All of the fish and seafood dishes are delicious, just like traditional Dalmatian home-made. You should definitely also try the house wine which is from the island of Vis. I haven't tried dessert but there are several varieties of pancakes. Wonderful atmosphere on terrace, friendly waiters, meal for 15 euro/person... More

We are totally disappointed. Greasy food, I mean super greasy. Look at our photos and you will see this kind of food is simply not acceptable. The worst meal in our entire trip to Croatia.

I read about this place when I was visiting split for the day and decided to give it a go. The fish was very good and the vegetables were great (they had a bit too much olive oil to my taste, but still delicious). The house wine was good and the waiter was very friendly. The place could use a... More
