I had the pleasure of staying at Bastion alone for two nights. Marko the barkeeper was a great host and bartender, really consulting greatly on drinks, wine and the superb food offered here. Creme Brulee Fois Gras my favorite dish. Ill definitely come back.

We decided to eat outside on the little terrasse inside of the inside veranda with a view on the harbour. The atmosphere was great: the olive trees, the old wall etc. made the place very intimate. The menu was limited, prices very high. As a mise en bouche, we were served a sort of ham and mayonnaise sandwich... Very disappointing.... More

Had only coffee here, but still the service was confusing, ie people serving were confused. It is one of those places with low frequency of visits so waiters are a bit "sleepy". Coffee was good, nice interior and pleasant seating, but the service...

This was a truly lovely meal. We were in town to meet up with a group of fellow travelers and we made sure to recommend this restaurant. They too were extremely happy. The fresh fish was truly amazing and the presentation truly special. All of our meals were delicious.

As you might expect, the Hotel Bastion's restaurant specializes in local fish, which they cook very well! There are also other local dishes to try out. The dining room feels very open making it easy to relax.

We really didn't expect to find a great restaurant inside a hotel. Everything is fresh and the wine selection is good. Has both indoor (tent roof) and open air dining area below. I would recommend the yellow fin or shrimp pasta. Service is fabulous and it is reasonably priced.

We shared an entrée and then I had a fish dish(which is to my liking) and chicken which is to my wife's liking. Both were cooked superbly. We had cheese and biscuits as we are not dessert eaters. All presented wonderfully.

Reach the restaurant via an outside set of stairs and feel like you are sitting in a castle overlooking the ferry harbor. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner in a beautifully and tastefully decorated dining room. The only disturbance was a table full of loud and uncultivated Americans but when traveling one learns to ignore some things ;-) The food... More

Absolutely fantastic service with great food. If you would like a romantic dinner, their 2nd floor provides perfect setting.

This restaurant is part of the Hotel Bastion a Relais & Chateux hotel so we had reasonably high expectations when we went there. The food was quite good but the service is really weird with a 'wait your turn' attidtude. When we arrived the service was attentive and we ordered a bottle of wine. Our waiter bought out our wine...
