We have been here with a party of seven, which overwhelmed the service despite the restaurant being empty. The tables were dirty, remnants of previous eaters all over the place. We had to wait for one hour to ge our food. The food was mostly mediocre to bad. This is a tourist trap.

Nice ambient and that's all. Prices are high for the quality of the food you get and prices are w/o tax, so expect higher bill than stated in the menu. Service is poor: asked for ashtray didn't get it, asked for parmesan with risotto and water with wine, didn't get it. Food was overcooked and rare at the same time.... More

I recommend the tables in a narrow street. There is more pleasant and less crowded place. There was a lot of customers, service was prompt and courteous. The waiter told us a local specialty: Sibenska pasticada - beef steamed with bacon. It was a very good dish and the price was normal.

Although we (2 families 4 adults with 5 kids) had a full dinner at our hotel we wantwd to spend a pleasant evening dinig in the Sibenik downtown to celebrate my wife and son's birthday. The restaurant seemed to fit the purpose. Nice pictures of mediteranean meals on the ad boards and in the printed menu however turned to be... More

To everyone reading this, do not go here! We had to wait nearly 2 hours after ordering a beef and a fish before they got on the table (we had to ask why it was taking so long). When it arrived, the food was cold (room temperature) and overcooked. We asked for the bill, which took another 20 minutes, after... More

Soup came after main course. They forgot to bring wine. Fish was cold and undone. Scampi were terrible. Avoid this place

We chose the place because it is in a cozy, narrow street. The food came quick, but one of the dishes (dalmatian speciality) tasted beyond horrible. I have never left food uneaten at a restaurant, but this happened here. My girlfriend's pasta tasted quite good actually, but that unfortunately does not weigh up for the bad here. The waiter never... More

We've been waiting for our food for hour and a half. Waitres was very uninterested and unkind, just a simple order of water was too much for her. Reason was too many people, but terase was half empty. Portions are really small, maybe it will be enough for apetiser. I am not a picky person but I do not recomend... More

We had two very nice meals at the Highlander. It is setup in a small cobbled street, the decor is nice and the service friendly.

Very disappointing. We (family with two children) were waiting almost 1 hour to be served. There is notsufficient number of waiters to service all the tables in this huge restaurant. The fish was cold, the shellfish was not frish. Avoid this place, there are so many great restaurants in Šibenik.
