My girlfriend and I stopped for lunch and a beer here while strolling through Tetouan. We had some good fried calamari and fish. Excellent service and friendly staff. Good value.

Not easy to find, off the main road through a passage. Simple interior, but very tasty food and very reasonably priced, they serve wine. Try the crevettes!

After several hours getting wonderfully lost in Tetouan’s stunning Medina, what better than an ice cold “Flag” under the shade of the tree in Restinga’s beautiful courtyard. The superbly moustachioed MD seems to be fluent & charming in every language under the sun. Lovely, simply cooked, fresh fish. I wish I was there right now !

We stopped in for lunch and were wermly welcomed by the multingual staff (Arabic, French, English and Spanish all were spoken while we were there). The food (soup and chicken couscous) was tasty and plentiful and the prices seemed reasonable to us. Our dishes were accompanied by a complimentary appetizer as well as free bread and olives. We ate outside... More

Tetouan in February is not the best place to find an open restaurant. The Restinga had good, freshly prepared food, & also served beer and wine (very hard to find elsewhere!) and lovely complementary olives and a warm chickpea starter. Service was good. You'll need to eat early, though, as it seems to close at 8.30 every evening!

The Restinga is in the mein street of Tetouan (Mohamed V).It is very close to the medina, so it is nice place to rest after a visit. I have never eaten inside; I think it is better to try the patio. The food is not exceptional, but grilled fish is very good (as in many places in this city). Do... More

the only merit of this cafe is to be located in the central area and to serve beer and wine. other than that, it is in a courtyard which is rather sad and gloomy, and it s really a pity that the owner does not invest to make it elegant and inviting!! I had a plate of grilled fish (not... More

My fiance and I have been living and teaching in Tetouan for 3 months in winter 2011, and we've come to love Restinga as our favorite spot in town. It's near to the medina and the pedestrian streets, so it's very convenient to walking around the most interesting part of town. Most of all, the staff speak many languages, including... More
