First... you have to cross the bamboo bridge to go there, but trust me, really worth it. The fondue was very tasty, and in our travel to laos definitely this was the ONE. I would highly recommend this place for the ambience next to the...More

This place has a lovely ambience. You sit in small huts by the river. We had the spring rolls, buffalo, minced pork, one of the entree sets and the mango and sticky rice dessert. The staff were attentive and were able to communicate well. It...More

Very nice restaurant by the others side of the river, by the bamboobridge. Great location, friendly staff, nice environment and great food, especially the fondue. Don’t miss this place.

We loved this place. Cute romantic atmosphere. Food was bbq and was very good and nice portions. Extensive drink menu. Owner was really nice. Only downfall is it is in the middle of nowhere.

This is a fascination place and very popular which can be accessed by a small shuttle ferry across the Mekong from the main tourist part of Luang Prabang - an adventure in itself. If you eat at the restaurant, the cost of the ferry is...More

We didn’t book and should have. This place is very popular, particularly if you are keen to order the fondue. The cocktails are very good, particularly if you there in time for happy hour. Our meals were very tasty and service was prompt. We had...More

Just came in for a beer, and saw the Lao 'fondue' - amazing, the best meal so far, and great fun. Beer was pretty good too! Great relaxed atmosphere overlooking the river, appears to be popular with locals and groups.

We enjoyed the atmosphere, and watching "newbies" trying the house speciality, a Laos-style Bar-B-Q at your table. The food we had was excellent, but not exceptional. Service was good, and the manager efficient in making sure any requests were taken care of smartly.

No, not in my view, because of the nature of the bridge's construction and the steep access to it from both sides. You would need to take a taxi and go the long way round.

Description
Dyen Sabai offers Lao typical food. From November to August, we offer breakfast. We also have a nice selection of desert (foreigner sweet.. sorry the Laotians don't eat that much sweet!!) We also, have happy hour from noon to 7 pm, 2 cocktails for the price of one, on selected cocktails. You can reach us with a bamboo bridge (in dry season) (there is a fee for the bamboo bridge of 5,000 kips from 8 am to 8 pm, after this the bamboo bridge is free). We also do free boat from noon to closing when the bamboo bridge is not there (rainy season only)
