We enjoyed having lunch here.. The food was packed full of flavour and freshness. The menu provides options for vegetarians and non vegetarians. I would recommend a visit if you enjoy authentic food.

We were recommended this place by friends who had raved about the tastes and flavours in the dishes. We weren’t let down. We went for the taster menu, which I’d highly recommend. The waiter was excellent and explained each dish as it arrived. There was...More

Popped by on the recommendation of our guide. Excellent food, great selection. Will need to come back for the “adventurous meal” which one has to book a day in advance.

A great chance to experience traditional Laos food. Great variety of flavors, a lot of spice food. A Luang Prabang must of you want to do the full Laos experience. Price wise it is on high range for the restaurants in Luang Prabang, although not...More

The stuffed lemongrass with chicken was amazing - bursting with flavour. We also enjoyed the Soop Pak vegetarian dish and the lime lemongrass and ginger lemongrass drinks. The service was very friendly.

The food was okay but they seem to thrive on tourists only. Not always good sign for good food. They have several tapas type selections so you get a taste of the Laotian cuisine. It was recommended by our guide and the Pepe at the...More

Went here after reading reviews. Service as good and dishes were well explained. Price point affordable. We just found significantly tastier food elsewhere multiple times during our stay in LP (cafe toui as an example). Worth trying the laos tasting platters to get an experience...More

We had a fabulous experience at Tamarind’s cooking school. The whole experience was memorable and far exceeded expectations. We cooked delicious local dishes that we will be able to replicate at home. Highly recommended!

Hi Sanfrankate. Sadly, you've missed the transport that takes people from the restaurant to our lakeside cooking school. So it's not really possible to join the class after it has started. It's unfortunate you didn't phone... More

Hi Ryan, we have a number of dishes that are naturally gluten free, and several that can be customised to be prepared without soy sauce (which in a Lao menu is the main offender). Our Senior Staff should be able to guide you... More
