Highly recommend this place for a coffee or lunch- what a beautiful spot and they have an amazing high end shop selling the most beautiful local crafts with a more modern design and upmarket feel. The patterns of the fabrics are gorgeous and we purchased quite a few scarfs, kitchen towels and embroidered pouches as they were designs you cannot... More

We enjoyed lunch here after visiting the weaving and dyeing centre. The food was delicious and staff attentive. The view across the Mekong stunning and would be a perfect place to see sunset

We took the Tuk Tuk out here and joined the tour which is interesting. The grounds are lovely and we were lucky to get a great table overlooking the Mekong for lunch, it is so relaxing. Food is great and it's easy to spend an afternoon here. Great seats for a quick afternoon siesta.

This is a great setting for lunch, a deck overlooking the mighty Mekong River. Food was good too. Some good local dishes on the menu along with some interesting specials. If you're visiting to look at the weaving it's a good stop. They also have a free took took which will take you between here and their shops in the... More

Although Utopia is famous for their view of the river, the view from Silk Road Cafe seems more tranquil. There are also equivalent to beanbags provided and the food is rather affordable. The compound is beautiful and there are weaving classes on offer!

Great place to relax and unwind after touring the town. We rode our scooters out this way and took the free tour before sitting at the cafe and sipping on some pina coladas. They were perfectly proportioned and fit the atmosphere as a tropical oasis on the water. Well done.

Relaxed set up where you can lounge about for hours together! Would definitely go back to the cafe for the incredible views. We had lao coffee and chocolate cake which was brilliant... Go there and spend the afternoon relaxing :)

The surroundings and view make this restaurant. I don't think I have ever felt so chilled out. The crispy spring rolls and Laos beer were great but basically it wouldn't matter what you order - just enjoy the serenity.

The views are spectacular, the food yummy and traditional and service wonderful. What more could you ask for! and when you finish eating you must tour the Ock Pop Tok grounds and traditional art works made by the finist Lao artisans. Ock Pop Tok has 3 locations in Luang Praband, each with slightly different merchandise. All locations represent the fine... More
