I had an aromatic break at Hallab - Marine crescent. The weather was cloudy and cool for the spring season. I love the traditional Lebanese dessert of Mafroukeh. There are two types of Mafroukeh at HALLAB. I always enjoy both flavors. There are the pistachios Mafroukeh and the ashta (clotted cream) Mafroukeh. I had clotted cream mufroukh garnished with ground... More

We were in Mall of Emirates and ate in this restaurant. We found a nice table and looked for nice food. We had antipasto oriental with Homous and Fatoush Eggplant and afterwards a meat plate. Food was no good, my drink was never served price would have been okay if the restaurant would have been okay.

I was for two weeks in Dubai and this was my favorite place to eat. The service was outstanding, so was the food. I definitely recommend everyone to try and experience this kind of restaurant and food.

Regular middle eastern food, nothing special. Service however is terrible. I wanted to have a seat on the terrace (so that I could smoke), but my server said that, the smoker's zone is closed so I can't get a seat there. Once seated in the restaurant I asked the waiter if I could go and smoke and he showed me... More

Has a nice little spot in the mall with views inside of the waterfalls and outside of the fountains. The food was good, the prices were great (especially for the mall area) and the place was full of locals and tourists alike.

We were a large group of people seated at the terrace with the view over the waterfront and dancing fountain, and Burj Khalifa tower of course. Service was smooth and fast. Food superb. Strongly recommend!

We visited Al Hallandale as we always do when visiting the Dubai Mall. Prefer to sit outside with great view of the Burg Khaliffa when it is illuminated at night. Also overlooks the music water fountains which is apparently designed by the same person that built it for Bellagio in Las Vegas. Great to see. The food is always good... More

The hummus is to die for so is the falafel. Enough vegetarian options. Food is fresh and filling. The mint drink is awesome too.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
