Although i don't prefer this place too much but had my dragging me to it. It was a welcome change as there was a concert happening and even the drinks were served pretty fast. Now we are going there again this weekend.

The hotel is small but the gardens and bars are really big. Good place to have some drinks. Entrance is free!! I could spend more in food and beverage.

Although the beer is pricey (where isn't though) Barasti offers pretty much everything. In the day it's a great place to lay by the beach and has many sun beds on offer if you get there early enough. They do great food available to take on the beach or sit in the bar away from the beach. The toilets are... More

This is a great place to unwind. The atmosphere is very "holidayish" with lounge music and alcoholic beverages available. The staff are attentive and the music is great. Food and drinks are slightly expensive here but they are served to you right on the beach. Be weary of the birds if you're eating fries! Great place to unwind after the... More

Barasti is one of the most relaxing places where you can go even barefoot if you want. No one will show attention to your dress code either you are coming from a wedding in Tuxedo or you are coming from the beach with swimming cloth. Enjoy different types of music and ambiances all in one place. Definitely My favorite bar... More

Visited here on a Thursday night, so it was very busy. Fantastic set up with bar location then a ramp down to beach stage. Brilliant atmosphere and lovely (but strong!) Drinks. Waited a little to be served at the bar but you expect that with such a busy place. People very friendly and you get talking to lots of people... More

Went for breakfast one morning...usually this is somewhere we go to burn the evening away. Not a huge selection of food in the morning but still worth it...

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
